Do u clean/break up your bud?

Do you clean/break up your bud? Do u get it broken up? cuz sometimes for me at least it has came cleaned. What do u do with it????

I like it non-cleaned, but what do u think...................

I just put my bud in the grinder. Pick out anything I dont like and smoke that shit!

ooo word yea i break up my bud, im pretty sure most people do. unless ur hitting it from a bowl/bong/etc., and even then its pretty dumb to just throw a nug in there.

you have to grind it to roll, breaking it up early just dries the bud out fast.
all you gotta do with a bowl is break off a nug and pack it.

im a bit confused. do you mean do we buy grinded or non grinded weed..if so then always non grinded, i find that when people try and sell grinded weed it is not as potent as non grinded because allot fo the trichomes have fallen of in the process of grinding and bagging.

I'm not sure what is meant by "cleaned/non-cleaned" buds, but if I purchase a bag that I feel is too leafy, I will trim the buds for sure.

The buds didn't smell as potent as they should have, so I took some simple nosehair trimmers (unused of course) and manicured the dry buds myself. Obviously I was trimming smaller buds, the biggest being 4.7 g.

I find that giving your dry buds that are a bit leafy a little trim will bring out the buds' smell more. After trimming some of the dry leaves off, the buds started giving off that lifesaver/pinetree scent that Godbud is known for.

Agreed.! But the only way i buy some cleaned/broken up bud is if its a last resort, Or if they are giving you a decent deal on the bag since its shake- Fyi broken up cleaned what ever you wanna call it not compacted.:jointsmile:

my friend immediately breaks down all his buds into almost a powder to fill his dugout with and smoke pinchies

i like to keep my buds as buds until i use them

however when i do smoke bowls i hand-break them down very fine in order for a smooth hitting bowl:thumbsup:

I use a coffee grinder for about 3 seconds, collect the kif in a pollen press, vaporize then regrind even finer with handheld grinder and vaporize again, usually get 6-7 standard cano easy valve bags worth.

If smoking, just once through the coffee grinder.:hippy:

I don't like the loss of crystals, I know there are keif catchers but why degrade the quality? I don't like fingering my buds more than I have to...

ive never used the easy valve volcano, but with the standard, i actually get 6-7 bags anyways after just grinding it up. its all about temperature control really, and about how much you put in.

use a grinder if im at home but if im on the go im usually breakin up on a cd case or a folded paper. pick the bug chunks of stems out so u dont get a hole in ya L

The best part about using a coffee grinder IMO is that you can strengthen your bowl/bong/vape as much as you want. Just consume the grinded goods or brush a little kif on top or a lot, so there is no loss of thc crystals and it tastes amazing. I never truly got the full taste of any bud until I started vaporizing. Thats the only real way to consume clean bud as the thread name mentions besides eating it.:hippy:
