the world wide crackdown on smoking, tobacco i mean... not nessicarily the same everywhere, but more and more 'freedoms' associated with smoking (tobacco) have just recently been revoked.... in amercia, and in england.. not sure of anywhere else yet (or if there is) think it means anything? personally, i'm all for getting people to stop, but taking away being able to smoke in public, even outside, just isn't right... it's taking away from peoples rights and liberties i feel.... personally i hope everyone does and can quit smoking (although i so realize that's not happening) but when it starts being forced on people, it becomes a problem...

I just told my self when i was young...

I will have to quit smoking some time

death

lung cancer

cant afford it.. what ever

So i just didnt start.....if you dont start, you dont have to stop.

Just remember slip.... it took a long time to learn to smoke like that, it will take a long time to quit.

If you relapse just remember you are human, and try again.

we just don't care.

laws:

anti-smoking
anti-drug
anti-porn
seat belt
helmet

these minor incursions on our freedom seem so innocuous that they have been allowed to flourish. they only serve to protect us from ourselves so why should we stop this well-meaning tide of imperial edicts?

Having sit on both sides of the fence I applaud the effort to ban smoking but,,, am disgusted of the hypocritical ways about it... The government wants the profit so the people will suffer on both ends... either you let people do what they want or just shut down the tobacco fields... the only reason I am for total destruction of tobacco is because it is poison,,,otherwise I don't need government being my Mommy...

shut it down and grow marijuana!!! yes...

I just wish they'd ban tobacco and be done with it. Smokers have a much easier time quitting when we can't buy it!
