This is what boredom does to me...

I was bored, so I decided to paint my computer desk...


For those who aren't familiar, they're Pink Floyd albums (my favorites):

Atom Heart Mother
Dark Side of the Moon
Wish You Were Here

And the other two are done drawing, I need more paint, though :p I'm doing The Wall and Animals.

The spaces between each panel are masking tape, not sure what I'm gonna do, maybe just a solid black line?

Put something where the tape is.

Just go wild in between them, thats my suggestion.

I think I might do some sort of trippy rainbow thready stuff.

Or paint all black lines, and paint in "P I N K" on the black bars trippily, and then "F L O Y D" on the bottom of the panels...

I've been diggin' Animals lately too. "Dogs" is so badass, I think I like it more than "Pigs (Three different ones)" now, which I REALLY liked, I discovered that one when I was high, couldn't get enough of it for a week or so.

You should def do something in between. Rainbow could be cool. Just make it trippy. I wouldn't put "PINK FLOYD" cause you'd have to tilt your head, it would probably just be cooler to put some tripppy border in there. You either know its floyd or not, anyway.

Very true... I can do some really cool stuff with rainbow patterns.

I was looking at the flames on WYWH and I think I'm doing a rainbow with that same kinf of flaming pattern...

Problem is, it's acrylic, so what can I spray on the desk to make it stay?

I imagine Piper would be quite difficult to paint, though, it's one of my favorite albums.

When I move out into my apartment, I'm smashing the desk, saving the top, and mounting it on the wall.

Surprisingly, DSotM was the most difficult to paint, Atom Heart was relatively easy, as was Wish, which I really want to finish. Animals is gonna be a bitch because I'm detail oriented, but it's gonna be the best :D

Yeah, it's really fun just painting and surfing the net, while listening to some tunes. Really relaxing, yet focusing at the same time.

I spent all night up painting, and then worked a 12 hour shift today. I. Am. Dead.

I made the mistake of getting bored and going for a bike ride. 40 mins later and I was back at the house deciding to do some yard work. Here I am 7 hours later and I'm done with the yard work and I'm not bored, but I'm tired as shit. Life is funny like that.
