So this is the story. If it doesn't make sense, my bad, I'm fucking high, ha ha. Anyway I have had a bad cold for a few days with all this shitty winter but not a "snow" winter, winter (rain). I get it when I don't smoke marijuana. Does marijuna HELP my cold somehow? Or, do you agree with my friend who says "you were just really fuckin' high".

who's right? Me or my friend.

not sure what you're asking exactly, rephrase the exact question, perhaps? in my experience, weed builds (not just anti-propoganda or trying to dissolve myths insued by it, i'm actually being honest) immunity, and also makes being sick less miserable, but DOES NOT, make a sickness pass faster....

so rephrase, and i will be able to answer more effeiciently, until then, refer to what i said.

It can't really cure a cold, and I don't think that weed can reduce the amount of time that you're sick, but the bud definitely takes the edge off and makes being sick more bearable

I've been sick since Wednesday morning. I smoked Wednesday night and I felt really really weird. I haven't smoked since then, which is a long time for me, and tomorrow (Sunday - New Years Eve) I'll smoke and see how I feel (I'm still kinda sick).

Hopefully I'll be in good shape. Can't miss the Packers-Bears game

I enjoy smoking when i have a cold, i just stop feeling sick, i dont have a stuffed nose and I feel much better, but when a high goes away, i go back to a stuffed nose and a soar throat phase.

If cannabis cured colds, it would be a medical breakthrough. Doctors have been trying to figure out the "cure" for the common cold, and I assure you, cannabis isn't a cure. Just like cold medicines, it just relieves the symptoms of the cold, not curing them, but relieving the cold.

I know when I smoke and I have a cold, it loosens my throat up for a little while, but doesn't make it go away fully. It just lessens the affects of the cold for a short time.

I've actually read that marijuana has been used as an expectorant; and I would say it definately will help you when you have a clogged up nose, or mucous in your lungs and shit. Smoke, cough from smoking, be able to breathe through my nose..indeed.

Every time i get a cold i get a chest infection too. I used to go to the docs about the chest infection for anti biotics, but then i thought, fuck that.

THC has anti biotic properties so for the last 2 colds and chest infections i've toked up as usual and they've both gone in a week. Nothing else has done that.

ever seince ive been on probation not smokin, ive had a constant stuffed nose, but the few times ive gotten high ive had no problem breathing. i think weed does have a sinus clearing side affect.

you know what's funny i've said this before...
because when i have a cold too, i smoke one
and it clears up my nose pretty well
i think it's cause when you smoke you get all dry
so all the mukus in your nose just fucks off...

It can temporarily relieve cold symptoms, but, it can't take the cold itself away. Your high may not as be as good, because some of the weed is concentrating on the symptoms, & you are not feeling well. It does take the edge off, though, and can make that part of the day bearable.

If you have a badly sore throat, and you're the type that coughs alot, the coughing fit from the smoke may cause your throat to feel more raw.
