well, if by that you mean you don't believe the BULLSHIT footage they used in 1969 to convince the american people that we went to the moon, then CONTINUE TO NOT BELIEVE IT!!!

if things don't add up, and you analyze the facts and come up with a conclusion, even if it goes against the norm, BELIEVE WHAT YOU WANT TO BELIEVE WITHOUT HESITATION (just added that last part, "w/o hesitation", b/c in your post you said, "i still don't think" [say it in an affirmative way!!])

Those lame conspiracy theories have been disproven so thoroughly it's not even interesting anymore. The moon landing was real and so will be moonbase alpha when we finally get to work on that.

Hey CBCC, if that's your real name,
Right after the "shuttle" came back from the "moon",
the 3 guys: aldrin, armstrong, and (?) came back and had a news conference.
They were asked about the view of the stars from the shuttle and
one responded by saying he DIDNT REMEMBER SEEING STARS!!!
in addition, in the news conference they all look nervous, AND NOTHING like
they would if they just completed the GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT OF HUMAN KIND.

and i also saw you in the 9/11 thread try to "handle" the truth about "conspiracies"... it would be my pleasure to go FACT BY FACT in things that happened on 9/11....

don't know about yourself, but what i believe happened on 9/11 came from RESEARCH and observing MANY documents (PNAC, 9/11 commission report, etc)... i AM NOT JUST DEFENDING what someone has spoonfed me. If you truly didnt just jump on our government's dick about what happened on 9/11 and did LOOK AT MORE THAN JUST MAINSTREAM MEDIA, then let's chat! i am a firm believer of knowing the "TRUTH" and if you are thoroughly convinced it was people with boxcutters that hijacked the plane, then my ears are perking up for the basis you have behind it!

Oh come on now honestly I want to believe in God but I want to believe in an all powerful omnipotent God...You can't see him. Even the bible says we lack the ability to see God. Do you really think he could be photographed by a telescope?

Those are really nice photos of expanding gases and the galaxies within them.

Before I even begin to consider getting into a scientific debate with you, it is first required that you learn something about science. Here's a good place for you to start: Moonhoax (http://www.redzero.demon.co.uk/moonhoax/main.html).

LOL, you won't see stars unless you're in darkness. The Apollo astronauts were always there in full sunlight, thus the stars were washed out just as they are during daylight here on earth. This is 4th grade science and I am surprised you need this explained to you! Unless maybe you're a member of the Flat Earth Society.

They look fake because they don't really look like that, telescopes that capture imagery of interstellar shit, detect all electromagnetic radiation coming from that part of the sky (like x-rays/UV/visible light), and then colour code all the different electromagnetic spectrums in relation to the wavelength/intensity of the radiation being emitted to form a better picture of the celestial body. They also leave the photographic film exposed to that area of the sky for a long time so more shit hits it, those images are usually a compilation of detected photons over an extended period of exposure, giving the image far more depth and detail than your eye ever could.

Even if the americans did lie, and didn't go to the moon, the russians still got in to space some years before, and witnessed the earths curvature, and subsequently the fact that its not sitting on anything, and doesn't really have a ceiling.

Come on people how are we even disputing this any more?

People say that the mountains and shit on the moon where not blurry, so therefore had to be stage props.

The lack of o2 on the moon is the reason for this. The reason that things blur on earth isn't just because of our sight, it is because o2 interferes with it.

YOU ARE ALL CORRECT..

iloveyou

now just stop thinking... NOW... take 1 deep breath and try to stay aware of that breath.. that means that YOU will have to be conscious for 20-40 seconds.... and look at the pictures.... suspend everything you "KNOW" or "BELIEVE" ....

THOSE GOOSE BUMPS (SKINK LOVE).. that means YOUR're seeing... don't interpret.. just see... just breath...

I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO SEE OUR GALAXY FROM 6000 light years away.. I believe it would explain a lot...

iloveyou

stop thinking... everything that you have left.. well, that is the real YOU...

Garden Knowm

You can't see him.

you can see god in a cup of soup..
actually,
you do see go in a pile of poop...
but when staring at GALAXIES.. and the mind shuts down
(because it is UNFATHOMABLE like GOD)

it so easy to realize god has been found...

JUST stop thinking you KNOW anything... for one breath.. and WALLAH...

ps - I have no freaking clue what those pictures are of.... that's WHY I can see...

iloveyou

Garden Knowm

Wow, amazing pictures! Just amazing:stoned:
I think the 'pics of god' comment is meant to be representative of how incredibly huge and magnificent those formations of the universe are compared to how obsolete we are..well that's my interpretation anyway!

ILOVEYOU

totally far-out and unbelievable... I AGREE... I can not believe the pictures are real.. but that does not make me think they are fake.. one thought does not lead to the other.. unless ONE only has their mind to VIEW the world with....

the people who think those pictures are fabricated.. those people are sooooooooo close (it is actually 2 thoughts they are having but the first thought is happening so quickly that they miss it and jump to the second thought)...

now what if those people just let that thought GO... what is behind that thought.. what is that thought hiding...

THOUGHTS are a veil.. they hide the truth...

Clue: it is irrelevant whether or not those pictures are real or not...

Ahh the hippies and the cospiracy theories. I'm not sure about making all the way to the moon, but since I've been in FL, i've watched a couple shuttles make it to outer space from my backyard with my own eyes. As for what they did after that, I have no idea. I do know they made it back in to the planet the other day as I heard the sonic boom and landing was confirmed by my source inside the space center. Oh that and I watched a few vids of guys playing around it space so I know they did some shit once they were up there.

Everyone is allways welcome to thier own opinions, but I swear, the hippies really like to think of the wildest stuff they can. Oh well more power to em.

to those who think they are computer generated, maybe you should do some research into how these images were acquired. the colours are bright and bold due to filters to detects those gases. they are a certain colour because of that. last time i checked, any digital photgraphy is "computer generated", (if you wanna get technical). but either way...

Those are pretty amazing pictures.

thoughs are nebula, thousands of stars are being born. The funny thing is the light comming from that galaxy takes somthing in the ball park of 8 millon light years to get here, so not only has that already happend, the galaxy could have imploded by now.... who knows?
