Thinking about piercing...

... my nose. I've always wanted one of those teeny tiny diamond studs in my nose... but I'm nervous it will hurt like a mofo! I've gotten tattoos, and THAT was painful, so I'm sure I could handle it, but still... opinions? Experiences? :)

Hiya, MJITC! On Christmas Eve, I saw one of my young cousins, who'd gotten a nose piercing since the last time I'd seen her. It was one of those teeny, tiny studs, a little light blue jewel no bigger than a pinhead, practically, and it was quite beautiful. She said it really wasn't painful at all and that it was over so quickly it wasn't a big deal. I wish I'd asked her more about it, like whether they used a little piercing machine or just did it by hand, but the placement was perfect, and it was so small and looked really good. I was impressed.

I have one. Its so small that sometimes people go months without knowing that I even have it and then one day the light hits it the right way and they go "did you just get your nose pierced?". It wasnt that painful, in fact I think my ears hurt more than my nose did. They don't use the gun, and if you go somewhere that wants to use the gun on anything but your ears you should go somewhere else because thats a bad way to do it.

Sorry to change the subject a little but has anyone ever gotten the top of their ear pierced? I REALLY want to get that done but have heard that it is the most painful piercing...and I am not good with the whole pain thing!

i got my nose done wen i was 11 i got loads of tatts n piercing n nose is better than ear its nothin dont even worry its painless

jr77 the top of the ear hurts i have had it done twice and both times it hurt like hell and the day after OUCH
