Well, i went out on Krismas night for a few drinks, got rather shitfaced lol, and at some point someone also gave some rather....... upsetting news, about someone being released from prison who should not be released.

So this put me in a rather bad mood, i went looking for this person, smashed bottle in pocket, but didn't find him.... i did, however, find some cops.... in a van.... and being as drunk and as angry as i was, decided to have a little "chat" with them, until they decided to ignore me, so i threw the bottle at them and hit the door, obviously they were not happy about this, they arrested me and smashed my head off of the stairs of their van, i ended up having to go up to the hospital with them so i could get stitches in my ear.

Then i spent the rest of that night... and the whole of boxing day in the cells at the station... i wasn't released till 10 pm (UK time) at which time i was told i have to go to court on the 11th of January.

It's now the day after (or rather morning after, 3:33am) and i can't sleep AND i have work at 7:30am this morning :(

So... how was your Boxing Day? :p

Someone that stabbed my grandmother 7 times (once in the head) for a shitty £40

She is still alive and is doing as ok as anyone would be in those circumstances, but is now legally blind because of it.

damn dude! i must say, i'd probably have about the reaction... that's some fucked up shit.... but throwing the bottle at the cop-van? trying to assault/kill the dude is one thing... but screaming out 'i want to be arrested, come arrest me' is another lol dude... i understand your anger, and agree you have every right to it.... i'm glad your grandma is still alive, and you should be too, those are VERY life threatening injuries, you should be happy she's still alive, not shouting out to come arrest me.... c'mon man.... THIS NEEDS TO BE IN CAPS, CUZ IF YOU'RE GOING TO READ ANYTHING FROM MY POST, IT'LL BE THE CAPS, I IN NO WAY AM MINIMIZING WHAT YOU DID OR WHAT YOU FELT, BUT LIFE WILL THROW SHIT AT YOU, ALL THE TIME, THAT'S THE TIME WHEN YOU NEED TO SIT DOWN AND THINK, WHAT IS REALLY IMPORTANT, TO YOU AND EVERYONE WHO CARES ABOUT YOU.... just think about what i have to say, maybe it'll sink in, maybe it won't... i hope your grandma is doing better, atleast as better as she can do.... if i were you, i'd just be happy she was even alive at this point..... somtimes it's just better to be happy for what you do have, then upset for what you don't have life is never fair, but life is only what you make of it.

Your anger is understandable. Explain everything in court and maybe you can get away just taking some anger management classes. Good luck!

i dont even remember who told me, just that someone did, i was extremely drunk at the time lol... my mum heard the same thing a couple weeks ago, but didnt tell me till i got released and was having a talk with the cop who arrested me, and they reckon he'll still have a good few years to serve... 6 or 8 i think he said, some shit like that, not long enough if u ask me.

tootsie roll, boxing day is the day after christmas day, dont ask me why its called that cause i really dont know lol.

and yeah i agree LIP, i reckon it'll be a fine cus the cops were askin about my financial situation (debts etc..). the charges I'm lookin at are "Culpable & Reckless Conduct" and "Breach of the Peace" so it shouldnt be too bad

Skink, your right, he should be dead, i know thats not very nice of me, but hey... if i had found the dude before the cops did when that shit went down, then i'd be the one in prison, know what i mean ;)
(so i guess its good they did find him first lol)

Almost all cops will pretend to be on your side, or say " you don't look like a bad kid to me" to everyone, be careful and don't believe a word of it.

this is very true...

There are disparate theories as to the origins of the term. The more common stories include:

It was the day when people would give a present or Christmas 'box' to those who have worked for them throughout the year. This is still done in Britain for postmen and paper-boys - though now the 'box' is usually given before Christmas, not after.
In feudal times, Christmas was a reason for a gathering of extended families. All the serfs would gather their families in the manor of their lord, which made it easier for the lord of the estate to hand out annual stipends to the serfs. After all the Christmas parties on 26 December, the lord of the estate would give practical goods such as cloth, grains, and tools to the serfs who lived on his land. Each family would get a box full of such goods the day after Christmas. Under this explanation, there was nothing voluntary about this transaction; the lord of the manor was obliged to supply these goods. Because of the boxes being given out, the day was called Boxing Day.
In England many years ago, it was common practice for the servants to carry boxes to their employers when they arrived for their day's work on the day after Christmas. Their employers would then put coins in the boxes as special end-of-year gifts. This can be compared with the modern day concept of Christmas bonuses. The servants carried boxes for the coins, hence the name Boxing Day!
In churches, it was traditional to open the church's donation box on Christmas Day, and the money in the donation box was to be distributed to the poorer or lower class citizens on the next day. In this case, the "box" in "Boxing Day" comes from that lockbox in which the donations were left.
Boxing Day was the day when the wren, the king of birds,[3] was captured and put in a box and introduced to each household in the village when he would be asked for a successful year and a good harvest. See Frazer's Golden Bough.
Evidence can also be found in Wassail songs such as:
Where are you going ? said Milder to Malder,
Oh where are you going ? said Fessel to Foe,
I'm going to hunt the cutty wren said Milder to Malder,
I'm going to hunt the cutty wren said John the Rednose.
And what will you do wi' it ? said Milder to Malder,
And what will you do wi' it ? said Fessel to Foe,
I'll put it in a box said Milder to Malder,
I'll put it in a box said John the Rednose.
etc...
Because the staff had to work on such an important day as Christmas by serving the master of the house and their family, they were given the following day off. As servants were kept away from their own families to work on a traditional religious holiday and were not able to celebrate Christmas Dinner, the customary benefit was to "box" up the leftover food from Christmas Day and send it away with the servants and their families. (Similarly, as the servants had the 26th off, the owners of the manor may have had to serve themselves pre-prepared, boxed food for that one day.) Hence the "boxing" of food became "Boxing Day".

BASTARDS!!!! FUCKIN BASTARDS!!!

ok as far as i knew i was up for just 2 charges, reckless behaviour and breach of the peace, which i woulda copped to....

i find out later that they also want to charge me for resisting arrest (which i didnt do) and brandishing a lethal weapon (glass bottle), so i plead not guilty and now i have to go to trial!

27th of march.

LIP

Shit... damnit man... those wankers never give the full storey...

But the resisting arrest and the lethal weapon is serious...

Just explain what happened, say how sorry you are and how out of character this was... tell them why [they might be nice]

Tell them you applogised as soon as you were sober and hated the fact you'd done it.

Tell them the police officers were very nice and helpful [those BASTARDS]

Basically, suck up and appologise as much as you can and yuou should be ok.

You may get a suspended sentence as the most.

And this is what they waste our tax money on... this could have been sorted out in the station, no need for court what so ever...

Good luck

I'd suggest maybe buying a little bud... that'll take some of the stress of, i know what it;s like waiting to be arrested, and knwoing you have to go to court... you can do things but it's always there isnt it? And nothing feels the same untill it's done and dusted.

I remember in 2005 i was kidding with a mate that i probably had an arrest warrant out on me... that was the wednesday... that friday i got nicked...

Random coincidence? I was only kidding when i said it.. maybe it was bad karma... and it came true.

Either way i didnt do what i was accused of and when it came down to it they couldnt charge me because there was no evidence. Came close though, but i had whitnesses too.

That didnt stop them keeping me on bail for 3 months though :(

But i've gone over a year without getting arrested or being questioned so im doing good :D
