yea- Santa just brought me 10 Pure Power Plant, and 10 FREE South African Durban Poison X Skunk #1! I don't know much about what DPxSkunk#1 is like, but I am happy!
:yippee:   :yippee:

Should I germinate all of them at once, or just do 5 of each to start? I have three Blue Haze that are about 4+ weeks now. I want to keep my grow very managable but steady- my flowering room is 4 X 8 and the veg is maybe twice that. Any advice would be welcomed.

I love Nirvana!

Well Merry Christmas to you.

How many you plant depends on what you want to do with growing.

If you are interested in breeding or cloning you should plant all of that kind and pick the best ones to clone or breed.

Remember some of these will likely be male plants.

If you are growing for your own stash. I would plant some of each and continue planting a few more every few weeks. So you can stack you harvests every few weeks.

It is all up to you. I am sure others will give you different ideas

I think I will just do a few at a time, just for my personal smoke right now. I'm going to try to clone a few from the other seedlings I have going now, if I don't manage to kill them first:o

I germinated 5 of the pure power plant (in less than 24 hours!) and three out of the five DBSK1 are starting to pop in the paper towels. I put the 5 PPP in my new bio dome I got from Santa and I can't wait until I see their little heads poking up!

So do you guys know anything about these two strains? I purchased the PPP on the recommendation of a friend, but haven't been able to find out anything about my freebies - I know Durban Poison is good, but what is the cross like? I imagine skunk means stinky, but how long is the flower time, etc. Any info mucho gusto!

I got those durban freebies too with my PPP order, lol! Haven't popped them yet. DP is a South African localized strain that was pretty much inbred from genetics that sailors kind of dumped there while on shore leave making the passage around... what is it, Cape Horn down there? Or Cape of Good Hope? I always get my nautical history cunfused... Anyhoo it's got a good rep as one of the true classics.

Hi Stinky! How was your holiday? I was amazed at how quickly the Pure Power Plant beans popped. Now I am a nervous nellie looking into the bio dome every few minutes to see if they are growing in their new home. I have never used these sponges before, have you?
I moved my Haze triplets too close to the light for a day and one got a bit crispy, but they are 2 ft away now with fans so I hope they recover. They remind me of the art film "Triplets of Bellville" I think it's called- it's great!

I can't wait until all these youngun's are grown and dried and filling big glass jars! I am running very low again, with no prospects in sight, and that makes mommy cranky

I have started 5 kinds of basil, and have roma tomatoes and swiss chard keeping the triplets company- they all love the light!

What are you doing for New Year's? My husband works non-stop over the holidays, and that night he has a big set-up- so I'll be home alone as usual
(Sniffle sniffle) I don't miss not going out since New Year's driving freaks me out- hope your night is filled with joy!

I'll be heading out to the Cape... maybe hook up with you on the way home New Years Day... I'm going to a party with a girlfriend of mine who's from there originally... she's a cool shit and a toker too, and the friend is a cool girl who runs a welding company and makes home-made absinthe! Should be a ripper of a party anyway. Gotta go to a couple of those before the big 30 catches me and bites me in the tuckas.
Not sure what a bio-dome is but one thing to remember is, seedlings may enjoy a bit of humidity but when it comes down to it, they get the wilts too easily and it's not worth the risk IMO so if my mental image of a propagation dome over your little seedlings is accurate I'd actually crack it up a bit to allow some air flow or remove it entirely. But it will be great for cloning.
I'll be bringing some party favors out East and perhaps a wake-n-bake on the beach followed by a nasty greasy diner breakfast would be a nice way to start off the New Year? Eh?

Sounds like you are going to have a blast on New Year's - and I would love to ring in the New Year with you! It would be great to visit the beach on New Year's, and if you want to stop by our place on the way home, you could relax in the hot tub- my husband will be making homemade pizza in our outdoor brick oven- yummy!

The bio-dome is from Park Seed, and the babies aren't technically seedlings yet I guess, since as of yesterday they were just seeds with little tails, and once they poke their baby leaves up, I will open the vents at the top.

Let me know where we can meet!
- hugs lbmom
