Little known to the PEOPLE OF America,
The FCC has passed a request to CHANGE THE INTERNET FOREVER!!
CORPORATIONS DEMANDED TOTAL CONTROL OF THE UNITED STATES COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM, AND THEY ALREADY RECEIVED THE OKAY FROM THE FCC (btw, we didn't elect people from the FCC, AND all but a few of our representatives aren't doing SHIT ABOUT IT)
THIS IS GOING TO ALLOW THE CORPORATIONS TO:
1. block certain/all internet users from certain accessing information/website
2. slow down the rate at which information is received for certain websites
NET NEUTRALITY= the idea if the information being searched is "out there", that NO ONE should be blocked, or slowed down to access that information
the FCC also gave power to the CORPORATIONS to CUT OFF FUNDING FOR PUBLIC ACCESS CHANNELS (they're over 3000 of them)
I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU, BUT THIS IS QUITE CLEAR ON WHAT "THEY" HAVE IN MIND... AND I DON'T LIKE IT
SAY "I" IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO GET AN ORGANIZED NATIONWIDE PROTEST OVER THIS BULLSHIT!

the one thing I like most about the internet is the fact I can find anything I need to know... this is clearly a money issue IMO,,,the FCC can kiss my balls...

ROFL like that will ever work. They'll start a war over that shit. Same thing with the gambling law trying to make it illegal for banks to let you gamble online. That shit is going to fail.
I can't reload my virtual visa cause of that shit

If it happens I will leave the country forever. I swear on that.
I don't even want to be part of this huge growing tumor of corruption and greed that our country and all of its leaders have been sucked into. One day, a thousand years from now I hope that everyone will govern themselves so that nobody will be in charge of someone else. We will all be responsible and self controlled.
Maybe if scientists discover something like hell, that when we die if we haven't been good people we get trapped in a place (like a salvia trip) that exists outside of time and space. Then people will be the judge of themselves.
Im sure problems like murder and theft will still be around. But peoples reactions to them will be alot different I'm positive.
Whatever. I got off topic again. I'm hungry...

Here's an article about google handing over search logs of a wireless hacker. It was unexplained in court how the LEO got it, but they did. AOL couldn't respond to the "information asked for" when asked if they have handed over search logs.
I think it's safe to say we know the answer.

What kind of privacy will we have when ATT restricts certain pages, and determines who gets information at a certain quality. You know, bad areas of town, even if its cable/dsl: they will control the quality because there WILL BE NO COMPETITORS!!! now think about that when blocking WEB CONTENT!! We who know the internet as it is are one generation who would be fighting for our content back..., but blocking another GENERATION FROM AN ARRAY OF CERTAIN CONCEPTS CHANGE THEIR CAPABILITIES. we are already blindsided with unseen guidance but this will be straight up BB style

Terrifying. The second I saw this I got SO angry. And then I think I remember a television ad, and it treated the consumer like a fucking IDIOT. Becuase they are. General america doesn't have a clue, and if the television god tells them to give up all Internet freedom then they'll do it.
But I think intelligence will prevail on this one. It's too large of an issue.
Angers me to think about them even trying though...

But I think intelligence will prevail on this one. It's too large of an issue.
It was literally voted for and it got passed 3-2 by a board we didn't elect.
the only television show that aired this is FREESPEECH TV . They will be at the conference about internet reform in mid Jan.
there is NO TIME to waste, as our MEDIA CAN CONTROL things that go out, and the emotions of people, and they won't be covering the story until about 3 days into enactment (and they will put it in a good light). there are VERY FEW STEPS to global domination-- and THIS IS THE FIRST BIG STEP!
WE NEED TO HIT THE STREETS, PROTESTING PEACEFULLY IN NUMBERS WILL FORCE THEM TO COMPLY. after all, when were out in the streets it takes time away from what THEY like best- us running around stuffing money in THEIR banks, buying stock in THEIR companies, and shopping so THEY benefit from the products.
they NEED US be rich. they give us crumbs off the trillionsTHEY (a group of ppl you can fit in a house) profit and we serve their every wish. take away THEIR labor and you've got a standoff-- they can't hold down all 50 million of us (50 mil is the amount of the population we could convince to protest for not only Net Neutrality, but other CIVIL LIBERTIES like no biometric id cards, microchips, space weapons)

Yeah well, as you've noticed, America seems to be giving up freedoms for "safety" nowadays.
Hell, I'm just glad I haven't had the SWAT busting in through my windows for shit I say online. :)

Freedom of information? This is America buddy, you know, the year 2006.
the Patriot Act has taken away 100's of freedoms for everyday citizens.
