Playing with my new digi

I'm still learning how to use this thing to capture the best quality. But this is what I took a pic of so far. Tell me what you think :D. Btw the size of these pictures are crazy. I dunno how to make them smaller without effecting the quality but like I said. I'm still getting used to this :p.

take the pics from a little bit further away and use the macro setting it usually looks like a little flower and then open up the image editor that probably came with your camera and use the digital zoom and crop the pictures and you will come up with great results. keep it up
one of my favorite things to do is take pictures of my nugs.

I just got a new digital camera as well over the Xmas, and couldn't figure out how to take good pics with it for the life of me. Then I read a great FAQ over at hg420.com that gave me some basic tips, and others I figured out on my own that were really simple.

As others have said, use the macro setting, it's a must to take high quality closeups. You also want your light source to be over your right or left shoulder, not in front of you or beside you. Use a background on your buds that will not reflect a lot of light, so nothing metal and no white paper. I just put mine on my coffee table, as it's stained a dark brown. Next, make sure your whiteness setting is on "cloudy." Results in more vibrant colors for some reason...Flash setting should be "fill in flash." Zoom and shoot!

hey orangeman, if you have one of the easyshares with like a 12x optical zoom, then that is the closest you are gonna get. I have a 6mp easyshare, a 8mp sony cyber shot that will get up to 2 cm close in focus, and a nikon d80 thats just amazing at every thing. But in all my recent pics i use the sony, just because macro is soo good on it. post a pic up of your new camera...

I got my first digital camera, a Kodak around 2000. Thing was 1 mp and I had a 16 mb card in it and it took around 30 some pics... ontop of 4 AA batteries that thing was a beast but I was way ahead of my time. Nice pics, not bad bud at all... looks better than what I have right now in fact!

Funny thing is that most of the moderate quality smoke that I get is brickweed, and is very far from SCHWAGG...Just because it's in a brick doesn't mean that it isn't good weed...It just means that it was apparantly transported in a large quantity..
