Well first of all, Hello to all. This is my first attempt at this and I have some questions for an experienced grower.
The skunk plants are 5' tall, and blooming like crazy into there 5th week. Just starting to smell fruity. Approximently 5 to 10% of the hairs are redish. I need this to be good, because I need it to eat and sleep, due to a serious back injury with heavy duty Meds.
I know that later in the window is best for this to be strong and not a head high. What is the best way to tell its done at maximum Potency? I have a 30 power Illuminated microscope, but dont know what I am looking at as far as Tricome development. It's a real forest in there, and I dont want to get it sooner than at its max. Can someone inlighten me? Thank you for your time.

yeah, not to sound like an ass, but post this in the growing forum, you'll get the know-it-alls there, and they'd be able to tell you when..... good luck with it...

Look at the buds with a magnifying glass and I think if something like 30% of the trichromes turn amber then thats about peak potency, or close to it.

Someone else probably can help you better with that.

Try erowid, that might help some.
