weed gone bad??

Question: can weed go bad?? How can you tell? I got 1/8th about two weeks ago, have only smoked a couple bowls out of it, and I went to smoke it last night and it tastes and smells weird and I didn't get very high at all. It's kinda rubbery and sticky... is it no good??? Do I have to throw it away or is there a way to kinda fix it, like air it out or something? :(

weed can mildew or dry out severely. where were you keeping it stored? how much did you pay for it? if it wasn't that much i would just ditch it for some new stuff. as far as fixing it, i'm not sure about rubbery and sticky, i have heard about people putting an orange peel in a closed container with it, but i think that really only works for lack of moisture in the bud...

It could be moldy.

Warmth x wet x dark = mold.

DO NOT smoke moldy bud.

If it IS moldy, throw it. Yeah, it's a shame, but you'd be doing REAL damage if you smoked it.
