Bad walmart expierence while smoking.

Me and my buddy were sitting in the car at walmart waiting for our friend to hurry up and buy a present for his mom for Christmas yesterday. So we decided to light up a few blunts in the middle of the parking lot broad day light. Although not a great idea neither of us were worried bout it. We are steadily hotboxed and pretty high when all of a sudden I hear two loud ass bangs. I thought it was our friend just fucking with us by banging on the car so I looked round and we wasn't there. So I looked behind us and saw some lady in her car in the spot behind us so I thought automatically she hit us cause of how loud this noise was. I said oh shit dude put that out she hit us.

So it's foggy as a bitch and we're stoned as hell. He asked what we should do. So I told him not to get out and pretend like it didn't happen. I see the lady start getting out of her car and i'm like oh fuck we're screwed. So I get out and smoke it flowing straight out of the car in the middle of the parking lot. I get out and look at the back of the car and I see no damage as she starts walking away. I started screaming. I was like "HEY HEY GET BACK HERE YOURE NOT GETTING AWAY" She said excuse me? I called her on hitting the car and she said she didn't. I just stood there with a stupid grin on my face as she walked away in disgust. I found out later that it was the sonic boom from the shuttle since I live so close to the base. Loud as hell.

Ha ha. thats funny. I remember last year, it was about 5 a.m. PST and i was about to leave for work when i heard a loud bang and the sliding door to my porch which was on the 2nd floor seemed to have been knocked on pretty hard. I thought someone had jumped from the roof onto the porch, so i ran into my room and grabbed my shotgun. I secured the porch and the surrounding area and found nothing. I later learned it was a sonic boom from the space shuttle returning to earth.

I'm not sure if they landed it in Texas or California, or some other place this time, but nonetheless, you will only hear the booms if you are close enough to it as it decelerates. The boom happens when the craft decelerates below the speed of sound (1111-1136 feet per second)

i have one question, (it's almost calling bullshit on the story all together) you thought you were hit hard enough to make a loud ass boom, but didn't even notice your car didnt' get jarred? i've been in a crashing car, you can FEEL when a car collides with anything, it's not something that goes unnoticed... but like i said it's ALMOST calling BS to the story, yal said you were high, so i chalked it up to being high and not thinking it through that deeply... just for future refrence, trust me, you'll know IF you get hit...

yeah i remember the one last year which i wrote about was so loud and shook the sliding door so hard that i though someone had taken a mad jump from the roof to the porch to try to break in. I was indoors at the time. Sonic booms are definitely real. It was the space shuttle reentering and it landed about 50 air miles from where i was.

We have an airforce base near our house, and one of the largest military testing sites in the US about an hour from my house... And I STILL hear sonic booms. Those things are fucking scary, especially if you're 7 years old and you hear one for the first time :P

I can just barely hear them where I'm at...but I live directly under one of the airbases flight paths and two days ago I saw 3 navy adn 2 army apache helicopters (i think...) fliying in formation over my house...they were low enough to make the trees across the road blow around...(i do live in the country and on the west coast)...and few other times I've had fighter jets come wizzing over my house in formation..the most i've ever seen at one time was 5...still a hell of a sight when your sitting in the house smokin a bowl nice and baked..hear something loud as shit..run outside look up and see jets and shit flying over
