it's a sad question, but the reality is, some people just aren't close enough to their family or they're friends are away etc (whatever reason).
to those who are, i wish you a merry christmas and happy new year. :noel:

That is very sweet TokinAsianGuy. Merry christmas to you.
I won't be alone. My husband and all my kiddies will be here and we'll be making a short trip to the nieghbors, just hubby and I. The kiddies tend to get too excited and put their paws on everything. (the kiddies are furry beloved pets)
My family is all over and with jobs, family etc, we don't really get together to often. I miss childhood sometimes when we were all together. :(

Some people think of it as just another day. Just with different tv shows. Football and such.
I wish you weren't all alone tho. Do you at least have pets?

Merry christmas to you too toots. yeah i just popped round to both my neighbours place. (houses on opposing sides) to wish them a merry christmas and present them with a small gift. i got a slab of beer for Ray and his fam who lives on my right. he's a top bloke who helps us out with some of the tougher jobs (landscaping etc). and a box of chocolates for Andrew and his missus to the left. and after my sister is done with her hair we're off to the annual family christmas party.

Not alone just not with family. They didn't want to leave sunny Florida for a few days of joyous celebration in the fridgid and snowy mountains of Arizona...go figure.

Hey Skink, if you're always alone on Christmas, have you thought about donating your time at a soup kitchen on something like that? I mean, at least you wouldn't be alone, and hopefully catch more of the holiday spirit being around grateful people.
Either way, hope it's merry and bright. ~

This year Im spending the holidays with my father, he's my only parent alive( my mom passed away when i was 7) and he's been the only family I've had ever since we moved from the US. The last holidays I spent em wasted with my friends, complete synergism. This year Im drinking wine and getting high alone because my dad don't get high and he can't drink, its going to be fun and memorable

I don't think I'd mind too much bein' alone on christmas. Not everyone is a people person...
I still live at home though, so I'm not alone. Usually me, my parents, my aunt and uncle and cousins go out to the movies on christmas day. Don't know if we'll do that this year but we will see them.

i will be working from 7 AM until 2 PM and will be with the 3 guys i work for and take care of, and they are more or less like family because i spend 50% of my time with them over the course of two weeks. then i am going hom after my shift and waiting for my girlfriend and my dog to get home from my girlfriend's aunts and then driving home to meet my parents, sisters, brother in law, niece and nephew, and my mom's dog and my older sister's two dogs. not to mention an arctic white fender jazz bass. i can't wait. i am just keeping my fingers crossed that i don't get pulled over for expired tags before the 29th!
merry christmas to everyone!
