Well i was just wondering if you think it would be much harder to hold a professional job while smoking marijuana I am thinking of going into psychology but am slightly worried as to my possibility of getting a job because of habit. What do you guys think, im just worried because of the illegality and getting a bad name and all. Lol, hope im not just being an overworrier, reply if you feel like it.

Don't worry about it. This is something that you apparantly want to do. Go for it, man! Don't worry...Even if you go on the job stoned, it's something that nobody's going to notice if you're an experienced smoker..so no, don't worry about any issues regarding it interfering with your job. Good luck  :stoned:

It really isn't that hard to find a jop smoking weed. Most will probably do one when they first hire you, so get clean a month or so ahead of time. And when they really want to fire you and need a reason or because it has been reported to them that you smoke.
At least thats what I'm thinking. As for psychology, you could start your own practice and than you wouldn't have to worry about it as much. :D You would have to be able to keep it from being known though. You could lose clients if it were found out by them.
I just got an awsome thought of smoking with a shrink during a visit.

Only trouble I can see it causing is with your pre-employment drug testing. That and if they have random tests. But once you have your job and you're not getting tested, it shouldn't effect yout job at all. If you're one of the types that can't keep thier shit together, then you may have a problem. I can keep a job and advance in it and smoke every day. Some people can't manage it. It's not that hard though. Just get your priorities strait.
