You want to flower early with the lights you are using...

well here are a few more updates. the plant on the left has a lil burn, i think the ocean forest was a lil too hot for it. I'm curious Knowm, I have a 400w HPS flower cab. so i should still flower early?

You're babies look great Scholar...nice and bushy...they're gonna do you proud! Keep up the good work! Oh by the way, do you have any fans to circulate your air? They are such a blessing to have. As you probably already know they help promote stem strength which is important for yield. Stronger stems helps those georgeous gals hold more bud! Happy Growing and Peace!

Flower all DEM bitches NOW.. and hang those 2 sets of lights on the outside...BETWEEN you plants.. so that all of the light coming off the bulb is being utilized.. it will DOUBLE your yield

those plants look VERY nice...very bushy which is always great. i would experiment tying a couple, or topping or something. it might be fun doing it to a couple plants and leaving the rest as is, then comparing yield. just my two cents, i love lst-ing personally.

I don't know about flowering yet. . .
how much did you want to produce? Give them like 2 more weeks and cut a clone or two so that by the time you run out of your first crop there will be another ready for you. Good luck. . .

i havent fed yet,its the ocean forest soil. It was kind of hot at first. i havent put in flower yet,but since i have ordered some hashberry and satori. I'll just flower now forget cloning, even though i prolly should. As for the hps I keep it 18" or so since i dont have a good rotating fan. oh well. by the way, whats a good temp when lights are off?

HiProGlow

They are lookin' hot! (And I don't mean burned ;) ) In my opinnion you don't have to flower right away if you don't want to...a little extra veg never hurt a plant, in fact, you could wait until you have some preflowers then you'll know for certain that your babies are ready to flower. On the other hand, if you did flower now, they won't start to flower until they are ready anyhow....so either way, you'll hopefully end up with some mad, perma-grin after they've cured! Peace.

Splifted

Lookin good scholar. They should grow nice and bushy under that HPS. Just keep tying the main growth tip down and you should get a few new tops before you start flowering. Maybe tie the tip back around to the right or left, since you're already at the edge of the pot.

btw man, you see the harvest shots?:D

Hey, Scholar. You're plants are looking good. Seems like you got everything under control. Looking forward to watching them flower. Good growin', mang.

I'd veg at least 1 or 2 more weeks. Under the HID, they will bush out, but stay squat. :)

if you have no cloning experience look up water cloning its super easy, basically you cut off a branch and keep it in plain water while changing it daily until it roots.

mafia819
02-08-2007, 04:21 AM
you could also buy a cheap aquarium air pump with airstone and let it run 24/7 in the water where your clones are! Faster rooting time! I truly mean alot faster! They should root in between 3 to 7 days so you don't really need to change water till you pot them in dirt.

Good Luck & Keep us posted ;)

try both at the same take 6 cuttings and root 3 of each both ways and see what you like better, and mafia is right a air pump will make the roots come along alot quicker.
