Blunt questions

Although I have been smoking for over 15 years, I am a relatively newer blunt smoker and I have a few questions about them that I thought I would ask.

1. I don't seem to be getting as high as I normally would have if I has smoked that same quantity of weed in a pipe, bong, joint, etc. Is this normal?

2. I seem to come down faster on blunts then other smoking methods. Is this normal?

3. How bad for the lungs is inhaling the blunts (cigar paper)? And yes I know anything you smoke that goes into your lungs isn't optimal.

2. i find that sometimes, blunts dont give me a high that lasts as long as pipes/bongs

3. its tobacco, if you smoke, dont worry about it. if you dont, chill, a couple blunts wont give you cancer

1. Maybe you're not rolling the blunt right, or hitting it right, because I get more high than if I smoked from a pipe.

2. Yes. Because of the tobacoo, when you smoke a blunt, your high is part tobacco, so you come down faster. It's like if a person who doesn't smoke cigarrettes, smokes a whole cigarette and inhales. This light-headness feeling only lasts for about 15 min.

3. Pretty Bad. Blunts are so new, that we are the first generation using them. We don't know what will happen after 50 years of smoking blunts...It's probably not a good thing, but who will smoke only blunts for 50 years anyway?

did it ever occur to you that you didnt roll a legit blunt?
make sure its tight but no to tight... if it doesnt run and hits like a champ and slow burning... then you should be fucked.
Smoke one to your dome. a 1.5 g blunt will do it.
then come back on here and say they do nothing

I wouldn't say that they do nothing. Overall I would say I was pretty pleased in general. I just seem to come down soon and the high is different. I will try really packing my next one with alot of bud and see if I notice any difference.

the high is different.. i feel a blunt gets me to a stoned feeling where i dont wanna go walk around but chill and relax and grub.
blunts are the best way to get high if you have no piece.

how much do you put in a regular blunt?
and what blunt wraps do you buy? Optimo`s? Swishers? kingpins? true blutns? royal blunts? blunt wraps? juicy`s? phillies?

i dont know what your problems are with blunts, but last night, i rolled my first hand rolled blunt, i rolled about 2 grams in a bluebarie platnium wrap...and smoked it with a few other people, i was feelin baked out of my mind for about 3 hours... then i started to loose the high, so i found some papers, and rolled about .5-1 grams into a joint, and smoke over half to my self....

I have been using the peach and honey optimos. They are my fav's so far. I have tried using the strawberry swishers and liked them as well. I havent used any other kinds yet. Thanks

Blunts = my favorite way to smoke. Strawberry Phillies are the go to's, white owl's are a good substitute. I try to stay away form the Optimo's cause they are harsher and harder to roll good. I like to use good nugget in my blunts but that is not always economically feasible so I often use the mids. Obviously you get higher with the nugs, but it is the only way I'll smoke mids anymore if it is my choice. I love sitting down relaxing with a big ole' blunt after a long day at work and school, and especially after the gym. Gets me on the level.

Damn, I haven't smoked a blunt in like 2 months because all I have been buying is the chronic, I think I might roll a little grammer of the bugs into a blizzy tonight after I get down playin' poker...Don't wanna get too high before you start throwin' money around.

uh. some prefer the taste, im indifferent. they burn a LOT slower than joints, can have a good amount of weed. its good for smoking in groups, the tobacco leaf might add to the buzz slightly, although if they do its not a huge difference.

blunts are my method of choice. the smoke is thick and smooth. think of it like a smoke milkshake. the blunt flavor mixed with the weed flavor is great. i usually go with the grape white owl. i luck splitting my own cigars rather than buying wraps

Around where I am from, blunts typically are packed w/ a gram (weed seems less prevelant here then in other places in the world, so we typically don't pack a blunt with more weed then that). My advice to you is to make sure your blunts are rolled correctly. A lot of times you can get a small hole in them if you roll them carelessly, causing a lot of smoke to leak out of the side of the blunt. Also, make sure you get a good deep hit from the blunt, a good strong hit from a blunt will knock you on your ass.

I roll with cigarellos cuz i dont like smoking alot of tobacco paper. i'll put a gram in a rello and roll a bomb ass blunt that get me high as hell.

well man honestly its not that you get less higher its just that a blunt uses an unecessary amount of weed. no matter how its rolled. you could get just as high or higher smoking .5 in a bong then a gram in a blunt. and i have noticed a diferent high also. when i smoke blunts its more of a chill high, when i smoke bowls/bongs/joints i get like a party high

I find it that some blunts are rolled perfect, just some people don't have a big enough hole at the end to smoke from and never think about fixing it. When you roll the blunt try peeling some of the end off and test it out, keep doing it until you can get a good pull.

Make sure you are using a nice amount of weed, a Jointsworth round here is 0.4 that is enough to get me nicley high out of a joint with tobacco.

However blunts should be rolled much fatter! you need to use a good 1.5 to 2 which is almost a whole 10bag! make sure the mix is equal all the way a long, make sure it is rolled fairly tight to make sure you get a good toke!

Also take long dreamy drags, not small tokes.

wow that is a false statement, i know people who have been smoking blunts for more than 35 years. (so we arent the first generation using them)

well i agree that a reasonable hole is good for the mouth but i usually find that it is not the size of the hole that restricts the blunts air flow because smoke doesnt really take up space so the size of the hole cant really matter too much. what i believe really restricts the flow of the blunt is when it is rolled too tightly in a section or not broken up properly, sometimes you can even grind up the herb too much and it makes the air flow no good.
