Yeap, thats bullshit. She is an ignorant moron, wh has no idea, and if the people reading that shit belive it, then they are just as bad.

HOW do they know he didnt have his mental health problems BEFORE the weed.

Weed was proven to aggrivate mental health issues, so they surface whilst someone is using cannabis.... and then the cannabis gets fucking blamed.

Someone needs to put that idiot right.

I cant carry on living in a world that does all this to a plant, they're too many ignorant people. People who talk the talk, but dont actually know anything about the subject their always harping on about.

It makes me so angry i just want to go out and walking into a police station with a joint... get fined, walk out, go home and do it again... just because i can and just to prove a point. Infact, if i do i'll get it videoed by a mate..

Damn... all this arrogance over weed will be the end of me, not the weed itself, just the bullshit surrounding it... i need to not get so stressed about it or i'll end up having stroke

I really, and i mean, REALLY cant wait to see those idiots in a few years time, ADMITTING to the WORLD, THEY ARE WRONG, and looking like the pig ignorant morons they are, for actually trying to stop people smoking cannabis with all their bullshit information, that isnt fact and isnt true. All of their arguments are lies, not even opinion... And people are lapping it up as though it's milk...

And whats worse is we pay for it... with tax... on EVERYTHING.... what will they do next, tax AIR.

Our government is a joke, and because of the bullshit they put out to the country, people like this women have no idea what they're talking about, and the papers know it's bullshit, but they wont write that though will they.

We need a government that actually want to make England England again, not what it's turned into because of labour, and Tony Balirs bullshit polices.

I don't think cannabis should be legalised. It's not the same as cigarettes and alcohol.

Pam Blake

Tell me thats not the most retarded statement you've ever heard? haha what a fuckin prat... lol

She goes so far... To prove what? That she is ignorant of the fact about cannabis and long term heavy use?

But saying this wont change anything, we all know that truth about cannabis. But no one will listen untill the Government [The people that for some reason alot trust] admit they were keeping it illegal under false pretences...

THey need to stop lying.

I just read the article properly....

I had to get him sectioned which absolutely broke the family up. My father and mother had very old-fashioned ideas about mental illness - you didn't speak about it - and they practically disowned him.

I'm sure that helped a lot

They put him on medication because they believed he was schizophrenic - he was hearing voices, saw messages in the paper and was having delusions of grandeur.

mmmkay

My parents moved to Wales, and he moved with them. For about four years he was fine. But when my father died he became depressed and that tipped him over.

So he was depressed because of the cannabis then? Hmmmm

My brother believed he had written the Boney M song Brown Girl in the Ring, things like that.

I've never been that stoned, but seriously that's not got a lot to do with weed FFS

I believe the last time anyone saw him was around High Wycombe in 1996 and he was basically living the life of a down-and-out.

So for 10 years you haven't got a fucking clue what he's doing?

I believe his problems were brought on by the smoking. He had to have 28 days off it while in hospital and he improved. He seemed in better shape to me.

I will let a doctor decide that.

The family tried to get hold of him after my mother died a few years ago and we couldn't find him. I went to a medium, and she said he had gone.

So you don't know where he is, if he's alive, what happened in the last 10 years etc. Your family disowned one of their own because they are too ignorant of Mental Health issues.

But of course, it was the weed that did it....

How about the fact that weed can help some people who suffer from mental illnesses? I myself suffer from bipolar and havent been on the site for a while because of a short hospital stay, but regardless of what certain "professionals" might tell me, I will carry on smoking it. Why? Because when my mood is high it helps bring me back down to earth, when my mood is low it brings it up for a while, helping me think through my thoughts more clearly, and when my mood is 'normal', hell, it just feels good. I have stopped smoking weed for a few months before to see what effect it would have on me, and I plummeted into the depths of depression like I never have done before. If I smoke a joint every couple of days, then I hardly ever start acting like a fruitcake.
Weed helps me beat the illness that has no cure.

Coincidence. He smoked weed, and he went crazy. He didn't go crazy because he smoked weed.

Exactly, just because the mental health issue decided to show itself while he was smoking cannabis, cannabis get's the blame, without any fact, proof, or concideration.

I mean, cannabis users are significantly less likely to ever become depressed...

And the fact the family disowned the poor bloke didnt help.

That woman belives that medium... how the fuck does she know? For all she knows he might be fine now, taking the proper meds, and still smoking a kilo a day....

I don't think cannabis should be legalised. It's not the same as cigarettes and alcohol. You know she's right, if he had been drinking he would have probably become a drunkered and died of alchohol poisoning, but if it was cigerettes then he would be a chain smoker and his family would have ended up saying that tobacco needs to be outlawed.

Damnit you beat me to it. Weed isn't like alcohol and "big" tobacco, it's good for you!

I am right with you LIP. So looking forward to when the US government starts acknowledging cannabis's greatness and start prescribing it for practically everything. It will be written in textbooks as a form of holocaust joke.:rasta:
