2 packs of Jacks Surprise F2 (JCxC99xGF) in some order, don't know HOW the x were made.

Plus:
The seeds came promptly, in perfect condition, shipped soon after the order
Packaging was appropriate and on par with seedboutique
2 packs of freebies for 2 packs of beans
when I emailed about status, I DID get a response.... the first time....

.... but the second time when I wrote with my concerns I got an autoresponse almost immediately

my concerns:
The confirmation email DID show my SHIP TO 'safe' addy correctly... Guess where my beans went? RIGHT TO MY HOUSE!!! :eek:
Site still advertises Space Queen F2s as freebies... I really wanted those. Got something else. But it's a freebie and I got 2 packs so this is kind of a wash.

I've had probs in the past with other breeders putting in like 8 ripe ones and a couple crap tan/white ones in 10-pax

I'm still hoping to hear something OTHER than an autoresponse!

But I guess it's worth the risk to add those genetics to my stable.

Well, an update to the review...

Apparently the email to which I got an autoresponse DID in fact get checked by a human, Doc, who is in the process of setting things straight with the mailing vs. billing addy snafu and sending some SQ F2s by way of apology.

So I am going to give a thumbs up for customer service... after all, they DO already have my money and could just as well say, meh, we sent 2 packs freebies.

Glad to hear everything worked out. And thanks for the review. I like these strains so I think I may be ordering in the new year sometime (can't right now). I hope they have some of the SQ's left when I do.

You are making me crazy Stinky!! I was on their site last night drooling over their beans and about a breath away from placing an order.....I already have enough other beans to flower half of San Diego but the prospect of those beautiful genetics (and the free SQ's!!) nearly tipped me over the edge. And then, what do I wake up to this morning??? YOUR glowing report of them! Dang you!! :)

But what about the plants those seeds produce? Have you started any yet? Anyone can send out seeds that look pretty but the end results are what matters. If it's the same Subcool that has been around forever then I'd have no concerns at all...he's been around and knows his stuff! But I haven't seen SC post for years, not that it means much as many have disappeared over the years but the SC I know I met at the old HBC and Laughing Moon sites. I hope no one hijacked his name but moreso I hope it's the same guy!

I believe it is the same person. If you check out his thread "Super Soil 101" he explains why he was away.

MAdeline... it's the real deal. I have to just trust them on the seeds being what they say they are but a guy doesn't get that stellar a rep for being a fuckbag. You should have googled him or searched this site before saying he's gone.. he and mzJill have both been quite active this winter.

Pooch... I didn't calc USD I just gave them my cc info and called it good. Whatever. I got so damn many freebies that I honestly would order again at a worse exchange rate, lol!

Update,

100% germ on the jillybean! One of them is having trouble shedding its shell but I just need 1 killer mom out of the bunch so meh. Seedlings have fine vigor.

Space Queen f2s not so great vigor... little smaller, more delicate looking seeds, germed fine but are having trouble breaking the dirt. Again, I just need one good girlie! And they were FREEEEEEEEEE :D
