Well thanks weedmaster. I also think it's nice that I can be active and have people act friendly towards me and not discriminate because of age. I went on another Cannabis forum a while back and they banned me for being 16....

us youngsters got loads of respect for you guys to. without you guys we would have been in trouble. so other youngins like myself, show some respect for the older peeps who figured it all out in the first place so we didnt have to.

We were also once inside a womb.

nuh uh!!!! My mom found me under a cabbage leaf!

Seriously to all the younguns -I'm looking at you orangeman- who I thought were WAYYYYY older- like act mature, know how to spell, DoNt InSiSt On TyPiNg LiKe ThIs, seem to be interested more in their education than getting all f-d up every minute, cheers. You guys are going to make it long enough to be old farts on the boards someday when I've got old lady hands and can't type anymore!!

I'm 19, and I'd have to say I'm pretty mature. I have to be, for my job. I've given CPR at least 3 times, seen countless infants born, and help younger girls than myself with the burdens of motherhood. I'm happy to say every job I've had requires over 100 hours for certification.

But there are times when I wish I could have had a regular job, like working in a bookstore without a lot of the hard work. I have to work at least 12 hour shifts, and it's pretty rough. But when I become an English professor, it'll be worth it all!

There are few adults I know who will actually hesitate before passing judgement, luckily, my father is one of those, and many older member on this board are as well. Thanks for being supportive <3

PurpleBanana, you're only 19? I never knew that--and would not have guessed that by a long shot. I knew I loved you, but the fact that your ambition is to be an English professor just cements that impression. (I'm the daughter of two English professors.)

PurpleBanana, like Orangeman and Billionfold and many of our other younger members, proves that it's not chronological age that determines maturity and sensibility. It's maturity and sensibility. We have a whole lot of younger members on these boards that I'm proud to count as my friends. And who I'd replace some of my older in-person friends with in a heartbeat if given the chance. I was not nearly as smart or level-headed as you guys are when I was your age. Now that I think about, I don't think I am now, either.

Well I'm new and 20, I guess that's young? Not as credible as 16 though. But I have always been quite mature for my age, not so much sense of humour ha! I'm very level headed and enjoy learning all the time. So even if I am too old to say "I'm mature for my age", I once was that's for sure.

a lot of people i know tell me i act like an old man. a few reasons i remember: always having a handkercheif, drinking whiskey and water, always wearing boots and flannel....i saw take it easy a lot as a farewell....always having a pocket knife...

i dunno if i consider that a compliment or not.....matter of fact, i dont really know how i feel about it

I am pretty darn immature... i pick my nose, play in sand boxes, burp, fart, have giggle contests with my friends, pick on girls I like, run as fast as I can up the DOWN escalator at the airport, throw water ballons at cars on the freeway, cry when I go to the dog shelter, and prefer cookie dough over cooked cookies... and I especially think people with extra holes i their bodies are weirdoooooooooos....

oh well..
