ok i tried out the lifestyles digital hands free vaporizer. first thing i noticed when i pulled it out of the box was that it felt like a toy. i also got the deluxe two piece hands free whip that has the glass on glass fitting. i really like the whip, but the vape itself feels like a cheap plastic toy, and the temperature thing seems like a gimicky way to tell what setting you are at instead of the real temperature. i am going to return the lifestyles vape, but i really like the two piece whip i got, but i dont think i could use it on the supervape or evolution. i think i am just going to try out the supervape. has anyone seen the whip that attaches to the supervape or evolution vape? all i found was a few pictures that werent very good showing the whips for the supervape and evolution...i was wondering if the whip is as good for those units, if anyone has any experience with them or if they know where i can find pictures of the whole whip assembly. Also, is there any other vapes i should check out???(please dont say volcano-i am set on a whip style vape) i cant stand the cheap feel of the lower priced units, and i am totally willing to pay the extra for a good quality solid feeling unit.

I own a Vapolution with the whips and chains (since I got this unit I feel like I'm chained to it with a chain...at least mentally!). I love it. It's a solid unit man... and glass on glass for superior taste. For the price it's unbeatable. I tried the supervapezilla and it was good too, but I am biased.

Fuck all these. Make your own vape. Just craft a heating element, (maybe even a stainless steel spoon rigged up to an electric heater) and you could even make a fancy self filling bag like the volcano by taking an air mattress pump (little electric fan that fills up air mattresses) and attaching a hose to the output nozzle which leads to a plastic bread bag.

of course this would be very crude but you could essentially build something for a fraction of the cost and come out with a unique personal vape.

very crude indeed...and I wonder how safe some of these 'home-spun' jobs are...fuck that.

i finally made up my mind on the vaporizer and went with the aromed. it is by far the best unit i have seen. the shop i got the aromed from had the supervape, the volcano, and the silversurfer, as well as the aromed. the supervape did not look worth it at all...and i did not like the way the whip worked at all..i cant even describe it very well so i wont try...all i can say is the supervape is the vape i wanted from the beginning and when i saw it im glad i never ordered it. the aromed works great tho...ive only used it once so far but the taste is amazing, and it seems to keep a very close temperature...its also pretty cool when you rip it the light brightens and dims when you stop. All in all, it is the only vape i have seen so far that feels like a quality product and actually seems to be worth the price. As far as the other vapes go...i wouldnt recommend: the vapor cloud, the lifestyles digital hands free, the volcano, the supervape or evolution. in my experience it is true that u have to spend the extra money to get a quality product, but was only able to find that in the aromed. i will post more if anyone has questions or when i have had the chance to use it more

I was just using materials that even the laziest and dumbest pothead could get their hands on, I would suggest crafting something beautiful and unique if you have the time, they often look just as good and smoke 100 times better.

I personally have access to welding equipment, wood crafting tools, etc. so i have make some neat smoking utensils.

after all the disappointment i encountered in searching for a vaporizer i too thought about building my own. i cant figure out why it would be hard to make a vape that can digitally tell u the exact temperature of the element. it seems like if you actually invested some time and money into development, it wouldnt be very hard to make a whip style vape that keeps consistent temperature and that has a temperature sensor on or near the element. i figure u could sell it at 300-400 to undercut the supervape, but actually make it worth it. also u could do something really crazy like adding a warranty to an expensive piece of electronics...for now tho i am very happy with my aromed:stoned:

Why the aromed vape? I have looked at it online but haven't seen it or talked with anyone who has used it. The Volcano is terrific. It is made as a precision instrument and is even more efficient than my Vapor Brothers vape. I fill up a bag, then inhale it thru water pipe, and all is well.
