once a month start a thread asking people to submit links to the best posts or w/e get a bunch then run a poll.

I was thinking more along the lines of humor. an award for the funniest post
the hottest post the weirdest post the best cat post the most informative post the best weed info post. the best weed photo etc...I think people would enjoy it but that is just me.

The newer members can pick their favorite post of the week as well and there can even be a newest member award LOL so I don't see the problem. I just thought Socks had a fun idea and it might get more people coming back more often.
I think there will always be those members that "jerk each other off" they don't need an award for that. :D

Actually I love everyone here that is why I am always drawn back here. I like that the people here are honest and real and for the most part repectful of others. This is a GOOD place to spend the day week month or years....because we can always find a commonality.

The only poster I ever really had problems with was Hamster and I have not had to deal with his hairy little ass so far.....I'm a happy kitty :D
