Here in north Texas today, it's going to be nearly 80 F. Feels very humid outside and windy. But the wind is helping the trees lose their leaves at long last.

YES! Central Texas is FUCKED!

Its the middle of december and just earlier I found myself skating with my shirt OFF at the skatepark today.

What the hell?

Is this like global warming or something?

Is the world ending when its almost 80 degrees in the middle of december?

World's not ending, this is Texas after all. The weather will be something completely different by next week, usually by the next day. And you know we'd be complaining even more if it got cold or actually froze lol. I think its snowed where I live 1 time in 20 years. It always gets coldest here in january and like the first part of february for some reason.

Vancouver has had truly fucked up weather. In the last 2 months we have had a major rain storm (in just one day we recieved all the rain we were supposed to get in the whole month of november) which lasted a few days, which led to a snowstorm and cold weather, which led to more rain, which led to major windstorms- 10mph away from hurricane force.

This is global warming for y'all. Many people are like "global warming isn't happening, it has been so cold in _____ this year, obviously the earth isn't heating up." But what people don't understand is that global warming CAUSES climate change. the heat creates more energy in our atmosphere which results in abnormal weather. case in point- the crazy storms bustin out everywhere the last few months.
