10 finger leaves?

I've noticed that on a couple of my plants, they seem to have an extra finger on several of the leaves..resulting in 10 fingers..is this common, or just some weird thing? :stoned:

Check close. Is it 2 leaves fused into 1? Are there 2 veins, perhaps real close to the base? Does it look like 2 half-leaves split in the middle? Is there a microscopic nub at the base for an 11th finger? These kinds of things happen when the leaf cluster is first coming out, from "trauma" of some sort. Usually small burns from HID.

True odd-numbered hands are much less likely than "amputee" ones.

Check the plants. See if it happened about the same "time". If all the oddballs happend "at once", it's prolly a "trauma" thing.
