Information Sharing.

I have been trying to share some scientific studies on Marijuana with another user. Unfortunately the board currently only allows people to attach pictures to there messages.

I believe that sharing information on marijuana (or anything) is very important and not being able to attach these studies is making that very difficult.

Is there any mechanism on this website to aid me? Would you consider allowing PDF of Text files to be attached to the messages. I understand you donâ??t want people to be able to share videos and music because of their size. The pdfâ??s I want to post are significantly less in size than a picture file (around .4 mb each).

I was also considering starting a marijuana info thread to share my information and so others can share theirs but this will be difficult.

Note: I cannot give any URLâ??s for these studies as you need to subscriptions to view them. I have this subscription but most users will not.

we have enabled pdf file attachments for the time being, and hope no abuse comes of it. Text files are still disabled but we will look to enable that if everything goes good soon in the future. TRy it out and let us know if you run into any problems, thnx again

I tried to upload a file, but there is currently a limit on the size allowed at 19.5 kb. all of the files are larger than this (most around .5 mb as i said)

Is it possible to bring this up to 1..5 megs? many pictures are this size

Give it a try now. it should be at .5 meg

Brook, I will check out that thread and maybe add some, i have a lot of studies on Cannabis as I have access to every journal published in north america. IT's a nice resource

Brook, I have checked that thread out and it does contain very good info.

but it is of a different type. The info i'm talking about is more: studies on the effects of cannabis on depression or Effects on memory loss. In this case Alzheimer’s.

really good information for research papers, which i'm sure almost all members on here will or have written about cannabis at least once in school.
