i don't know if this is the right place to post so please move it if in wrong place...

i have a couple of questions

1. can you put a MH bulb into a MV fixture?

2. does anybody know how to wire this socket so i can run it on 110

this fixture was next to free and i would like to use it for vegging... i have heard that you can use an MH bulb in a MV fixture

As long as the MH buld is not larger than the 175 watt.To wire it for 120,it has to be a multi-tap ballast.Does it have a wire with 120,240,etc....?
