Smoking with friends

I have medical marijuana for various conditions, but i miss smoking with my friends. Now i know that i cant provide the marijuana for my friends. But what if i was caught smoking with them, and i did not provide the marijuana? Could i still get in trouble for it, or would that be completely legal?

I'm guessing it would work like this..
If you got caught; and you all got caught, I would say they would ask who supplied it. If nobody owned up I'm guessing the cops would consider you as the dealer\supplier.
Whereas if you got caught and 1 or 2 other people were in posession, im guessing you would be fine.
Although I'm not 100% sure so don't take my word for it.

im a patient from co, and if we ever get pulled over, everyone usually gives me their shit and pieces to hold on just in case. i haven't had to prove my innocence so far. In the past when i wasn't legal, my friend was a caretaker and a group of us got pulled and he did the exact hsame thing. Claimed it was all his and provided proof and the cop let us go. We had like 1.5 oz combined.
