I've been hovering around the forums for a while now, and I've been hesitant to ever post anything, just because I'd assume I had dumb questions. I've gone ALL out on everything, except for space. So far everyone else's problems have helped to solve mine, and I haven't advanced very far in growing, but I figured I'd post some setup pics, and current plant pics. I'm using a 1000w MH currently to flower two plants that I know are female, plus 3 clones of vegging plants that I'm sexing.I've so far trashed(hashed rather), 3 male plants, and only have one female...I'm wanting to order seeds BADLY, but I'm trying to assess risk, and still haven't thought of a surefire way to keep everyone out of trouble if the package was intercepted. The seeds used in most of the pics are from some mids, to highs, no name stuff. It's looking OK in the flowering room, but I really wish I would have started with WW, ak48, or brainstorm looked great as well. The picture shows the flowering room to the right, veg on the left, VERY early stages.

Setup: 1 1000 watt Metal Halide, 3 sets of 4 foot fluors, and an additional one for clones. Heat mat for clones, and a self fogging system. 75 lb co2 tank with a reg. 30 gallon rez from walmart with a 196 gph submersible pump, connected to a 12 output distributor for automatic watering of the vegging plants. The fogging system is just a rubbermaid sealed with a fogger submerged, an air supply, and two distributing hoses to keep both domes very humid. I have timer fog for 15 minutes, 6 times a day, but some time, I'm buying another digital timer to do 6, or more, 5 minutes fogging sessions.

Here's a real close up of my bag seeds flower. I say, it's just a mediocre amount of thc, so that's why I'm really wanting to order some undilluted strains. I think this picture does the plant more justice than it's worth. I don't have down the exact date that I placed this plant into flower, but I'm assuming it's got about 2 and a half weeks or less, sooo, it's about time to flush it with some good ole RO water. I JUST got the RO system today, took many gallons of wasted water to realise I need to restrict the waste water flow to get any real output from the good hose, getting about 9-10 ppm now.

Good start but I would clean up and either paint the walls flat white or use mylar.

I've actually had this room going for about 3 months now, starting from 0 experience, and trying to rush myself through all knowledge from every forum, and everyone's personal experience. I do have mylar in the flowering room, 4-5 foot high.. It's also in the veg area. The flower room is blocked off by black/white poly plastic stuff, and a velcro door. The two rooms are somewhat air joined so air from both rooms is vented. I managed this, keeping it air tight by making a maze-like structure from 2x4, and putting the blackwhite poly over both sides. One hole in the flowering, one in the veg.

It's been an experient for a while, and I've not really gotten the right light for the two plants in the grey bucket. They're entirely too old to looking so young, and they have weak stems. They've been under GroLux light that I had lyin' around. I'll pick up another fluorescent sometime for them, and maybe expand to a few of those grey rubbermaids. I'd like to try clones with it really, because I've not had great luck with clones so far. Lots of yellowing, and nearly dying plants. I've used a generic cloning concentrate, and I just started using rootech cloning gel. At the same time, I switched from rockwool to this brown spongy stuff, and after 9-10 days, none of the clone rooted whatsoever. So last night, I soaked more rockwool, gave all clones fresh 45 degree cuts, gelled them, and planted them in rockwool. I also re-gelled and cut some plants, and continued using the brown spongy stuff to see if they indeed, suck as cutting medium.

Due to odor control being my #1 problem, I'm moving the majority, if not all of the operation upstairs. I plan on making a flowering tent, and possibly a tent for vegging as well. The room will measure 10 feet long, 5 feet wide, and 7 feet high. There will be room for 2 HIDs, and there will be a squirrel tail pulling air out to the attic's exaust. The floor will be some 1/2 plywood, the walls surrounding walls, and floor will be lined with black/white poly, and the ceiling will be astrofoil(the foil/bubblewrap/foil), so it will reflect light and heat. I've also thought of putting a layer of mylar on the walls, but that's an eventually kinda thing. I'm just tired of people giving me "that look" when they come in through my back door, which is DIRECTLY above the veg room, and there's plenty of spots for air to escape. I'm using the DIY odor thing with a 5 gallon bucket, full of holes, ONA, and soilmoist, but to no avail. Still havin' curious noses...So noone's allowed over here anymore, not worth the risk. I've included an ULTRA-crude drawing of the plans for the room, and I plan on assembling it in the next week.

I accidentally cut a bud in half, and I'm hoping not, but assuming so, that what's inside is seeds. I thought I eliminated the males quick enough, but I guess I was wrong. This plant is about 1.5 months into flowering, if not later. My dumb ass didn't record the date it was placed into flowering. So, those are seeds right? shitty. How long will pollen last, circulating in the house, no more than a month i've read, and HOPE!

All I had was one plant, and it was QUITE immature when I flowered it. It was just meant to show me the sex of the mother plant, but I finished the flowering phase while I had other clones vegging. ANYWAYS... I harvested today, didn't weigh the yield, but I'm guessing 4-5 grams dried, paaaathetic ,but, the bud is sweet smelling, super sticky, at least mildly iced. And a great skunky smell, on top of the chlorophylly smell. I can't wait until later tomorrow, I'm getting a tent built. It'll be 7' high, just under the "roof", 5 1/2 feet acroos, and 10 feet long, perhaps 12 feet. VERY light proofed with black/white poly for the floor/walls, and astrofoil for the ceiling, as to reflect light/heat. The roof will be angled like so:

and there will be room for 2-3 HIDs. The west side of the tent will have my lil 265 cfm dayton connected, and a 4" dryer vent hose will vent that to the western section of the attic, and there is a electric vent, that goes through the roof, in there that's been there for a while, I have no specs on it though. I'm very excited about this, as I'll have room for enough plants to smoke myself, and my family as well. When I was cutting the flowered plant today, I was half-tempted to just EAT the bud. It smelled soooooo sweet. I eventually licked the resin off my fingers. GREAT skunky taste. OH GOD I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL I HAVE A FULL HARVEST!!
