smoking weed with the cops

It was in the late 70's and I was living in Waikiki, working as a model and I also was listed with a casting agency for little local tv commercial or non-union plays, who called me up with the wildest job- to do mock-crime scenes with the Honolulu police cadets, as the final part of their training. All the actors were bussed out to this empty town in the middle of nowhere, it was like military housing, and we were given scenarios to act out. The cadets would arrest us, question us, etc, and they were observed by their superiors. So of course, in one of our scenarios, we were in this house, and we did the circle of smoke (with fake weed for the reinactment) and of course four cops burst in.......and I got to flail around and yell You M--F---, etc., and act up a storm, it was great! The hardest part was not laughing!

So then at the lunch break, a couple of the actors and I get the idea to step behind a building and have a quick toke- the real thing. No sooner do we get it lit when two cops come around the corner, real suddenly, and they are in their complete cop uniforms - for real -and my heart almost stopped!
But they were just rookies, and maybe it was their last fling before graduating, but they actually shared the joint with us and were really cool. It was very surreal.

Then maybe six months later I was dancing down the middle of Kalakawa Ave (they blocked it off for New Years Eve) and who should I run into but one of the rookies- I didn't recognize him at first, but he cut in on my boyfriend and twirled me a few times. It was so sweet! And also a little surreal- that Hawaiian magic!

So that's my infamous smoking with cops story. Anyone else?

In Central park back in 1981 while waiting for my acid connection to come back with my 1000 hits, I was sitting on one of the giant boulders minding my own business when I smelled the best weed I had ever smelled in my life to that point.
Needing to know where the smell was coming from, I walked around the rock {about 100 feet around} when I saw a mounted {On horseback} NYC Cop toking on a fatty. I walked up to him and put my hand up asking for a toke and he coughed as he handed half a joint to me and left without saying a word.
It was the best weed I had ever smoked in my life to that point because I had to go and sit down after my first toke and I almost missed my acid connection with my 1000 hits.
I also smoked with a few NYC cops back in the winter of 1980 in a hunting camp in Upstate N.Y. and it was their weed.

I havnt smoked WITH cops, but, last year, november, i had just finished my morning joint, with a 1/4 oz on my table, and i get a knock on the door [in the morning] so i answer it and it's the piggies... so i let them in, willing to help with their enquries.. so they come in, and straight away they know i've been smoking, and then they see the 1/4. One of them, the bigger one picked it up, looked at it and smelled it, then put it down and arrested me for attempted robbery [which i didnt do, i was realeased without charge, after about 3 months on bail] but they didnt care about the weed... i mean, i wasnt doing anything wrong really... That's what makes a copper a good copper, it's all about disgression.

They gave me back my weed one time and walked passed it on other times even when I was on parole. Cops here in California and back in New York have better things to worry about than stoners doing their thing at home.

can't say I have ever smoked herb with cops but had a few intresting situations with cops.
First, me and my old friend back when i was a teen came around the corner smoking a blunt in nyc to find two cops on horses standing there. So i palmed the blunt and asked them for directions to someplace i didn't need to go lol.

Another time we wanted to grab a bag of herbs before we hit the club, my friends started freaking out on me because there was a cop standing a few feet away when i was making the deal, so to further their freaking out, i handed off the cash and took the bag into my hand in a single motion, walked over to the cop, and asked him if he knew if the park restroom was open still, my friends nearly had heart attacks..

But were still talking about the America that locks people up cos they failed a drug test, the America that gives longer prison sentences to people smoking weed than rapists and murderers, and it's the same America that wants to imprison marc emery for selling SEEDS.

Maybe in certain states, yes, but in general, America's laws are way to harsh and hardly anyone could get away with that....

I mean they have laws against paraphinalia [sp?]


If the cops tryed to arrest someone in England for having a bong with resin in it they'd get laughed at... they just dont do it.

When i got arrested a few years ago for weed, after they cautioned me and took the weed, but they gave me back 3 or four pipes and bongs i had in my bag :D

I have a buddy who is a cop and he can't smoke becaus e of testing, so we always make him be lookout when we take him to brewfests with us. As if I don't get the gigglies enough, when you're smoking with a cop outside the car complete with his silly haircut, and he says, 'psssst! 5-0!!!!' you can only imagine!!

A friend of mine used to have a cop who smoked as a friend. My friend got a call in the middle of the night saying "Get out- they're coming!" My friend grabbed his essentials and split. The first cop car pulled up minutes after he left. This was in San Diego in the 70s. Another friend, in his 40s at the time, had a remarkable "gift of gab". He claimed that he talked a cop into taking a "six pack" (6 joints wrapped in foil for easy transportation) and promising to smoke them all. Knowing Richard- he might just have pulled it off, but, to be honest, I wasn't there for either "happening", so I cannot swear to their truthfulness.

i have never smoked with a cop....cops scare me..and i am only 5 feet..too short to be a model....but i did live in hawaii for 2 years in my 20s, on oahu..do i at least get points for that?! lol

i was blazed with me and my friends when we got pulled over, i didnt smoke with them, but i was high with them cept they were sober and mean.. does that count?

I've smoked with a cop before but I didn't know he was a cop until later. He was my friend's husband's friend and the weed was my friend's husband's weed.

i smoked weed with a cop sitting not more then 5 feet away with a drug dog sitting right next to him, and this was at night time, in a parked car.... so there was no way in hell he couldnt see our lighters lighting up every couple of seconds...

then of course there was one time, that i talked a cop into giving me a ride home with out checking me(cause we have none each other for a few years... and have never given each other shit... and i didnt relize the drug dog was in the back seat, and then i had like an 1/8th in a baggie(one of the ones with out the zippers) and a pipe just caked with reason, just had climbed out of a hot box... and the cop nor the dog smelt anything...(as far as i know)
