The other night I was craving a cigarette and couldn't get to the store. I threw a chair down the stairs. I feel 'ya.
Good luck on quitting tho, LIP. It'll be alright once you get over the initial cravings. <3333 we'll miss you. SMOKE MORE TREE! It'll make you feel better.

LIP, honey, why aren't you using a nicotine patch or some gum or something to help with the withdrawal and edginess? That'll help you feel better, and it'll also ease those symtpoms. Not to mention make it easier to successfully quit. Remember, it's not the nicotine that's deadly in cigs, which is why they put it in those patches and gum. It's the other crap. Go to your nearest chemist and get something to help take the edge off. I don't want you having a stroke!

you will be glad you quit smoking in the future. that was a very strong thing to do, quitting cold turkey like that- way to go! :)
Well, i was looking at the price, and i thought, well, im not sure, i think i just wanted to give it ago on my own first, but damn, this is too much.. so yeah, im gunner get some patches... but my fuck... i dont think i've EVER been this stressed, or edgy.. and i fucking hate it... it's like im going cold turkey from smack... well, not as bad, i couldnt imagine what those crackheads go though... nor do i want to.
My hands still bleeding from where i hit my computer... :(
I want to light one up so much, just to get rid of this feeling, but im not gunner go ut and buy any. I would have though my weed could stop me craving it, and relax me, but meh, it's not doing jack shit... im just stoned... and stressed... which isnt a good feeling..
NEVER smoke cigs... I supose i didnt think it could be this hard, let alone would be this hard.

i hear the patches work mainly on the placebo effect.

i hope you feel better soon- what you are going thru sounds really shitty but im sure you will pull through it just fine.
As for the placebo effect- that could very well be true, but never underestimate the power of the placebo effect!

Hang in there. You can do it (and all that other crap people say). I quit this past summer after 18 years of smoking cigs and it was hard as hell (albeit I wasn't smoking 40 a day!). You know all this. But I just wanted to lend some support. That is tough, and you can do it. Good luck.

they got a tobaccos anonymous, if they smell cigarettes on you at all they beat the shit out of you with a chair for about 5 minutes.

Yeah, don't give up LIP, you won't regret it.
it's like im going cold turkey from smack... well, not as bad,
Actually, it can be that bad. Check out this chart. One doctor rates nicotine the most addictive of six commonly used drugs.

Yup. They say quitting tobbaco is as hard as quitting crack cocaine, and harder than herion.
I know how you're feeling LIP. I quit ciggs. cold turkey and it was one of the hardest things, to this day, that I've ever had to do. Try chewing gum, regular gum, and lots of it. To keep your mouth busy as it once was with smokes. Try eating suckers, or lolipops. That keeps your fingers busy, and your mouth busy.
Just keep busy and try to keep your mind off of it. Go for a run, go out for supper, or a late night lagar. Just anything to keep your mind from wandering into the nicotine land.
They say the first 2 weeks are the hardest, then it's all downhill from there. I put multiple holes in my wall when I quit, and things were thrown around and broken. :p It sucks man! Just hang in there.
Just think of all the extra money you'll be saving to be used for whatever you want, including more weed. You won't smell bad anymore, and you will feel 100% better. You'll breathe better, have more energy, everything! You'll be in much better shape and you won't be spitting up lung butter anymore.
Good luck.

Fight that shit lip. You can beat it, and the canna crew is here to back you up. We can not feel your stress but we all support you. Don't give up man, I'd mention what you could smoke to combat stress but i'd get deleted. Msn?

Do what you must,,,I don't believe in aids like zyban or patchs... I think if you got the nuts to tuff it out you will quit for good... I smoked 35 years and I know where your at right now... get bags of wintergreen or pepermint lifesavers and just keep knawing on them,it ocupies your hands and mouth... don't even think about the future,,,just think about the craving your having right now and control that...
Good luck,,,You got all these peeps in your corner...

I quit (twice because I'm an idiot) and it is really hard, no one who has been through it will say it isn't, but it can be survived, the intense craving eventually subsides, it really does! In the meantime, do keep your mouth occupied as much as possible, as long as it is not a cigarette or something
worse, you know, candy, gum (the first time I quit was with sugarless bubblegum, I had a serious gum habit for about 6 months!) and also adding a walk or run or some kind of exercise that gets you really breathing releases stress and reduces the craving to smoke.
You are strong in ways yet untested, but you can do this. You have a lot of people cheering you on
Thanks for the comments people. It's much appreciated.
It's not so bad today, im still craving but im not as stressed as last night, still shouting at stupid things, but i'll live with that. The weed is taking my mind off it, but it's hard, after a joint i'd normally smoke a cig, but now i cant i en up smoking another joint... all pure.
I cant get my head around how i can punch my computer, cut my knuckle and my computer still works.

every time you just about break for need of a smoke go start running until youre about to hack up a lung. It'll clear alot of stuff and for those few minutes youre wheezing and gasping for air you wont want a cigarette at all

statistic say that people usually quit for good after the 2nd and third attempt... I swear I got help from above because I could not imagine myself without a cig... I quit before and it lasted 1 year and 7 months... I got drunk and lit a winston and that brought on a 10 year run of chain smoking...
Pain and a heart attack made me stop for good,,,I regret not sticking to it the first time but with every passing day I feel better,,, 2 years now on this run and I actually am pretty fit,My BP was taken yesterday and it was amazingly normal...
Fight the moment!!!
I think a big key is focusing on the moment and not your whole life...

:microwave: I'm curious as to when the need for this smiley would ever arise. I would say the same thing about the airplane one, but at least that one's plausible. I don't have a walk-in microwave, do you?
Nicotine is a horrible addiction. It's tough, but you gotta stick it out. Eventually, you'll be able to look back and realize how great of a decision quitting was.

Lip, I wish you all the luck in the world! Quitting tobacco is really hard! When you feel like a cigarette, think about this- A single drop of nicotine, placed on a rabbit's ear will kill the rabbit in less than 24 hours. Learned that in a bio class, we were studying skin permeability. We may not agree about everything, but I'm behind you all the way one this one! Stay strong! - Granny:stoned:
