you can go to the roor.de site but its all in german and shit and im not sure if you want to buy from them. i think most roors you have to find in a shop to buy. and the usa roors especially are like LA only type of stuff.
good luck man. thats why i just got a phx instead, easier to find i think.

Roor.de will not ship to the US. EDIT is the only reputable shop I have seen that will ship the german roors to the states, and they are pricey.
Good luck!

am i the only one that thinks roors are a rip off? I've smoked from roors before and it didn't hit any smoother than other high quality bongs i've hit. It just seem to me that half the price of a roor is the damn roor label slapped on the side.

my buddy has two roors and i dont think they are that great. ive smoked a lot of bongs and my favorites are HVY, JBD or any other heady lookin peice
Roors ARE NOT anything special, you are simply paying for the name, if you think it's because they are "GREAT" or "the best" then your VERY wrong.
£10 plastic bongs hit just as good, some better than a roor. It's exactly the same as designer clothing.

Anyone who truely belives that is just being ignorant. Are you telling me that designer clothing doesnt last longer, feel better, and look better? Sure, its not always worth the price, but there is a differance.
Roors are not the best, but they are very nice. I own a couple, and have been very happy. There is no way that a cheap plastic piece of shit with rubber o-rings hits nearly as good as an all glass on glass roor. Its just not true.

Well, than you ARE ignorant. Sorry, but roors are NOTHING special, they're good, and they look alright, but your not paying for the glass. Your paying for the name, simple as. And no, branded clothing doesnt last longer. It's exactly the same as the cheaper stuff, you are only paying for the name.
No one seems to know the value of money on this site... maybe because most people on this site have no real life experience.
Paying that much for a bong, no matter WHAT make it is, it's a rip off, and you are not getting what your paying for.

Did you even read my post? I was agreeing with you when you said that they were overpriced.
Yes, but you said that they are better than plastic ones, but thats not true. If you had the experience many others DO have, you'd know a plastic bong can be shit, or it can be the best thing you've ever smoked out of, so saying a Roor is better than a plastic bong is stupid, because it's just not true.
No can say a roor is worth the amount of money they cost, your just paying for a name. It's not worth it, simple as that.

If you don't know/realize the difference between an o-ring bong and a(ny) glass on glass seal bong, then I don't know what to say. You need to get out more.

lol.
A cheap plastic bong [depending on design] can hit just as good as a over priced, glass bong, and that includes roor [obviously]
If you think im wrong, then your not only ignorant, but you lack experience also.

No, lol. I guess he's talking to me, he used my quote, which i have just read and it turns out my quote has almost your whole quote in it... gets confusing eh?

Oh, I had thought he had quoted me, haha.
I dunno, either way, the point was: Roors look great, and they hit ok, but they are WAYYYY to expensive for what they are, if you got he money, spend it, but if your saving it up your wasting it.

I can agree with that. If you can afford them, go for it. Otherwise, there are much cheaper pieces that should hit pretty good as well.

Damn right. I gave you good rep as a sorry for being a cunt to begin with, i didnt mean to be, you see im quitting cigs... and it's hard to go from 40 a day to nothing... im loosing it with everyone, i even hit my computer just now cos it lagged... just cut open my fucking knuckle, this always happens when im pissed.
i have to agree with lip here, if you can explain to me why roors pull the smoke through water better than a normal glass bong please do. u inderstand that they are shaped like a piece of lab equipment, i dont understand why this makes a difference. every glass bong i have used has hit the same, which is to say very well. you inhale on the top, the smoke passes through the water and up the chamber, no smoke escapes, you pull the slide. nothing to it really. please explain to me where in that equation roors are better than normal. i will buy that they may be higher quality and more durable but not they hit better. unless we are talking about the multiple chamber ones.

Umm.... lol never mind. Simple physics seem to escape you on so many subjects...
You are absolutely right, plastic O-ring bongs hit WAY better than a glass on glass - what was I thinking?
Anyhoo,
GONG's don't have to be expensive - only the "designer" pieces are priced so outrageous, well, because they can be.
Seriously though, Good luck on your quitting cigs - thats a tough one.. still haven't been able to kick it in 20+ years :(
glass is glass you can find a glass on glass bong for fifty dollars

Really, simple physics... strange, im a marine engineer, and with that i also build boats from scratch, so i obviously know a little about simple physics.
And yeah, i quit on saturday, and im going through hell... shacking... angry,,, im shouting at myself... sound stupid but im so edgy, i cant stand it, but i need to quit...
Thankyou for the kind words, much appriciated.

I never said that roors hit that any better than other comparable bongs, but they DO hit better than ones of lesser quality (ones with rubber seals). Rubber o-rings cannot make a perfect seal, where as glass on glass can. When you dont get a perfect seal, air starts to get sucked in with the smoke. The less air in the hit means a more pure (and therefore better) hit.
Cheaper quality bongs also have a poor design. That can be bad for two reasons. The first being (once again) the quality of the hit. A poor flow of smoke can cause a more harsh hit. This was an area where roors always excelled at. Usually a more simple design makes for a better flow. Another problem with a poorly designed bong is stability. If it doesnt have a stable base, there tends to be more accidents. So, not only are cheaper bongs more likely to fall over, but becuase of the quality of glass, they are more likely to break.
A better bong also has a lot to do with features. I have an awesome glass bong that has an ice catcher, ash catcher, diffuser, 2 percolators, and a good grip. Cheaper bongs rarely offer that much. This creates once again creates a worse hit. Does one really need all of those features? Probably not, but if I have the money, I damn sure like them. I can tell for for a fact that that bong hits alot better than even a straight glass on glass one.
But what do i know..

well one thing for sure is that my 700 dollar bong is sick because it cost 700 dollars LMAO. yeah I have money to spend it on.
to be honest. yeah some small handblown glass piecse hit really well... but its nice having the percs and ice catchers.

its al in howits made not how much it costs, roors do hit really smooth and they are pretty durable but if an acrylic bong was made correctly that could hit just as well

I've modded my 2 foot acrylic bong so it now has a slider, no carb and the whole stem/bowl/slide is glass. I'm willing to put £100 [$180-$200] down and bet it hits just as good if not better than a roor, and the whole lot cost less than £30.

i got a roor 5.0 ice master i love it...indeed there more expensive but i got lucky and got adeal for mine 110$ shipped which aint bad...but hey everyone has thier own way of smoking so who cares...if they want to spend 500$ on a bong thats thier money not yours to worry about...alas if i had 500$ to drop on a bong i wouldent do it id buy a volcano instead lol
ROORs are quality, but so are most bongs in the next price range down... Lip is right you are paying for the brand name, you can get THICK 1ft glass on glass seal bongs w/ an ice catcher for little over $100
It's the same with designer clothing. Same with aftershave. Alot of things are like that- we pay through the nose for something that cost hardly anything to make. It's all in labour, brand name and looks - if people buy it at that price, they'll sell it at that price.
That's why i dont really buy much brand name stuff, if any. I think the only thing i've got with a brand name is my CK boxers LOL.
from my experience any 3 piece glass on glass bong will rip awesome because they have a perfect seal and thats what makes a bong MILK but you dont need to buy a roor for that.
