its very simple. once you realize that there arent really any ties to anybody then it becomes so much easier to move on.

Finish highschool and you'll be alright.

Err, I'd just try to ignore everyone, no one is special, they're all the same losers as anyone else. They're just there for entertainment.
Thats how I'd deal with it, if that makes sense.

Sweetie, don't be in too much of a hurry to get hitched! You need a little time to figure out just who is the right dude! As for the dude you are interested in, he has commitment issues (right there you're in trouble) and he "is stupid" (BIG turn off in my book). Do you want your kids to be dumb like he is and have an absent father? That's just what you'll end up with unless you get your head on straight! At least pick a smart commitment-phobic- that way your kids, as you raise them as a single mom, will at least, be smart! Goof around a little, it's Xmas- go to some parties. Forget him, he isn't worth your time! - Granny

I was that way in high school too. You just have to wait it out. Once youre out of high school and assuming you plan on getting some type of post high school education you'll meet lots of guys and you'll be able to have your pick of them.
