Does anyone else on the boards play this game? If so what server do u play on? I had a 60 gnome rogue but then i traded my account and got fucked over. Now im levling up a gnome warlock. I was just wondering if i was the only one on the forums that plays this game. :o

Been playing two years, sometimes heavily sometimes casually.


It can destroy peoples lives if you let it. I usually play when I'm home and not chillin' w/ friends. The second I get a call to go do something I usually log off immediately. It's something I do to pass the time (and sometimes there is a lot of time to pass) but when real life (work/school/family/friends/etc.) steps in I just log out. Besides, any wow player knows that....

i used to play, i had a 60 rogue on doomhammer, used to be in a good guild too, made it all the way to chromaggus in BWL before i quit in august, PvP in that game was so badass...

i kinda miss it, but i was kinda addicted to it for a while, i really didnt like that so i quit, havent looked back.

Might help a little but not that much. Even if you had a nasa computer, a dialup connect is just too small of a pipe to get much shit through. It'd be like trying to fill a swimmingpool with a straw. You might have a sweet pool, but you're not gonna get to swim any faster.

I installed the client and used an account i got ahold of, and there was a level 60 tauren warrior, and a 45 orc shamen.

Runescape was good back in 2001 and 2002 in its somewhat 3d form but it was too time consuming and addicting just like WoW. I don't even consider MMORPG's to be video games because they don't take any skill, only time and money.

Oh, man. I was so addicted to wow it wasnt funny. I'd log in just to be in game, i wouldnt even do anything, just run around Ironforge going back and forth from the Auction House and the bank. I "quit" a couple of times, but only for like a month at a time. Finally about 2 months ago i quit. I spammed every single channel, got warned, then totally owned the GM, then i got banend. I even got screenshots of the whole thing. I sharded all my gear and gave all of my EPIX LEWTZorz to my friend, who then sold his account the next day, lol. WoW FTL, GG.

I think it's a great game, but damn the addiction is insane and I have no idea why. I never pulled all-nighters till I got this game.. a bit shameful really. I played Cs:s too, but there were far too many assholes in it who somehow thought they could be "gangsta" and cal-i at the same time

Like I said, I played WoW a couple months and it wasn't addictive. It really didn't seem like it was worth $15 a month. RuneScape is much better IMO.

i played every warcraft game to date then World Of Warcraft came out and i had no desire to play it. like YahtzeeG jus said its boring after, all u do is run around and kill shit 1 million times. its not like the old Warcraft games at all. i got a level 4 hunter i think i dont even know, i dont even care. like level 4 is fuckin funny. that takes u maybe a half hour and i got bored of it, and me being a hardcore Warcraft fan i thought was fuckin halarious. and $15 a month, naw thanks. ill stick to my counter-strike and my xbox 360 that hardly works hahaha
