View Full Version : Vaporizers: So much BS where do I start?

I have been researching vaporizers for over a year now and never forked over the money to buy one...until now. I finally got ahold of some cash and i can buy whichever one i want. I have tried the Volcano, Vapor bros box w/ whip, and a vapor cloud (which uses a light bulb for heat and a bubbler contraption). I am willing to spend enough money to pay for the high end vapes such as the volcano, supervape, or evolution...but my skepticism keeps leading me away from all the hype of such vapes. The volcano is WAYYY overpriced for what it does, and IMO i dont like it. I have tried three different Volcanos and the taste of the vapor was NOWHERE near as good as from the vapor bros whip style units. I have made my mind up that i want a whip style unit...simply because of the far superior taste. I also wanted the best of the best, so i looked into ordering a supervapezilla, but that is the sketchiest company...i have emailed them several times within the past couple months about ordering, but i have not once gotten a reply. I dont see how they could expect me to pay 500 bucks for an unwarranted electronic device especially when they wont even talk to me. Also, all the fake websites and whatnot make me even more skeptical. So far what i want from my vape is...the best money can buy within these specs: I want a whip style unit, some kind of warranty or return policy, and a digital readout for the temperature. the reason i want the digital temperature readout is because i like the box units, but i hate fiddling with the knob trying to find the right setting...its a waste of time, a hassle, and a waste of good bud...i want to be able to turn it on, see that its ready by the readout, and then hit it. I was planning on spending 500 for the super, and i supposedly ordered one through a local store, but now it has been a month and i dont want to wait anymore, so i dont think i am going to get it. Any recommendations for vapes that i may not have seen? here is a link to the vape i was considering http://www.gotvape.com/store/lifestyle.vaporizer.php ...i think it is a new product because i cannot seem to find much information on it...Also, one more question...what is the difference in heating elements for whip style units. correct me if im wrong, but the Vapor bros has a glass heating element, while the supervape has a ceramic; what is the difference i have heard the ceramic is better...does one just last longer? (if so, how much longer) and are there any other benefits to the ceramic element?

i too debated for a long while and was super skepticle , :what:
i first bought a bc deluxe and it was the biggest piece of shit known to mankind . mmmmmmm burnt popcorn or burnt peanuts taste . conduction vapes suck lol . i'll give it to you if you want it ? gross ass ugly thing you cant clean , still looks all criminal , like paraphanalia .
life on SSD doesn't allow 540.00 toys like the volcano , i currently have a vaporwarez - vaporcannon hands free . yes a whip kind like you wanted but there is no digital readout . i found my happy place w/ the knob n marked it on the box w/ a pencil . no fuss if it ever gets moved . it carries a 5 yr. warranty on the element which is ceramic . no i don't know why ppl. claim ceramic is better ? they give you 2 complete whips /bowls /mouthpieces too incase of mishaps you dont get left w/o a vape while ordering a new whip . it was only 139.00 and got it in 2 days from fla. to mich. and it looks like furniture and shit . wouldn';t know what it was if you didn't already know .
i used to puff between an 1/8 to a 1/4 a day when actually smoking . i now use maybe 2 tsp. of product a day . vaping makes it go a very long way . :greenthumb:

Vapezilla. It is the best buy you can possibly get. It only takes about .2 to get you stoned off your ass.

my vape bros is dope, gets you blazed over a minimal amount of weed, like a decent vape should, but i must say i like the taste of the volcano more..its like mild or someshit i guess

Vapolution here! It's the first I've had or tried and I love it. Great company in Chico, CA and very respondant and cool fellas. I also combed the net and head shops and heard lots of BS, but IMO the Vapolution sounded like a good value. I have not been disappointed as I use less mj than before and a clean high. No more coughing and oyster bla blah. The Vapolution does not have a digital thermo, but like someone said above, it's easy to figure out where it's at. I've since tried a Vaporwarez and it was cool, but for flavor, the Vapolution kicks ass. I have a hard time putting it out of mind - it seems to be calling my name. I LOVE vaping. There's my 4.20 cents worth.
