Slap me silly but I just noticed that two lovely members here gave me "reputation". Yes...I know I've been here long enough and I should know but I have no idea what it means or how it's used. I know it's a positive thing. Will someone be kind enough to explain to me what it means? Thank you.

Actualy I noticed I got a nice portion of respect on here in a small amount of time, people that have been here as long as me tend to have much lower respect points, ect.

Look at those little green dots under your post count, the more of those, the more reputation, I'm considered a fairly new member and I have 2, I've never seen someone as new as me with 2.

Yeah, I have 114 rep points :), those little green dots aren't called rep points, rep points you get everytime someone gives you rep, but you need ALOT of rep points for more dots.
