I just started smoking again after an absence of 20 years. I stopped smoking when my first kids was born, and I'm getting back into it now.

After my oldest left for college (same school I went to), a friend gave me a joint and I've started smoking about 2x a month now.

The biggest thing that bothers me now is getting caught. I know it causes paranoia, but I'm in a different position now than I was back then. ;)

Since I've been out of it for a long time, I've got some questions that I'll post in the appropriate form.

Just saying hello. :stoned:

 Welcome back my friend.Keep checking out the message boards and happy smokin.Try to keep in mind that it aint the weed that creates that paranioa. That in my opinion is just fear making things appear to be true that really arent IMHO.Ive just started smoking again after a 5 year absence so i have nearly thirty years of experiences to draw on.(no pun intended).Anyhow welcome back

I can understand the paranoia, shit, last time he smoked they didn't have a THC drug test! That is certainly the bane of all our existences, and we need to discover how we can circumvent the dreaded "drug test" again!

The lawyers say, when they insist upon a test, request urine instead of blood, it's easier to fight in court. Having that bit of knowledge eases my trepidation a bit.

Glad to have you back Old Pot Head!

It just shows that the worst side effect from smoking pot is getting caught. The only harm.

Welcome back.

Some strains have much less paranoia then others. Do some research and find whats right for you.
Peace

Yeah i read on the boards somewhere that indica is better than sativa as far as those panicky attack things go.Also i would reccomend toking at home undisturbed on your own at least until you feel comfortable with the weed again.Love and respect.Chris

Welcome to the boards.

Indicas are best.. Relaxing, and not as paranoia causing as sativas. Indicas are also stronger, and have more medicinal value.
