View Full Version : Is there such thing as vacuum sealing a bag too tight?

I just vacuum sealed a couple ounces of some sweettooth. It was my first time using a vacuum sealer and I wanted to know if it will affect the weed in any way or do I have to break the buds up in a different manner (like using scissors)? Also, are there any advantages to sealing it air tight?

Since its strictly personal, I'm not worried about presentation. However, I am concerned that it will be difficult to enjoy.

ps I'm new to the forum and I apologize about all the inquiries on my first post. I'm just concerned about my new stash.

Any replys are greatly appreciated

I believe vacuum sealing is damaging when too tight. It damages the cannabinoids on the outerside of the buds and it compresses the weed.

I smoke compressed weed all the time... the main concern for me is to keep it hydrated once out of vacuum seal, vac sealed and dry is bad...

In the long run will the weed still be decent to smoke?
