so me and my buddy were driving home from seeing apoctalypto (not nearly as good as i was hoping), and there are all these cops everywhere. we drive by the most of them, and there is this area of the road taped of and there was a body all wraped up and a mangled bike next to it. they were just ignoring the body, so obivously the person was dead. so i really don't mean to post a downer thread, but just remember...
life is short and precious and can be taken quickly, so smoke a bowl, and tell all your friends and family you care about them.;)

I had an experience like that once. I was on the interstate and this car was smashed by a big rig. Driving by I could see the mangled body in the drivers seat.

The disturbing thing was I had my camera ready to take a picture of "the cool accident." I didn't once I saw the body, but I was really disgusted with my self for a few days afterwards... Now that I think about it now I'm getting a little sick in the stomach.

im entertained by it. i dont know why, i just am. especially if its really cool, like somebody getting ripped in two by a piece of shrapnel from an exploding object, i would love to see that.

I worked as a paramedic for 7 years. We saw stuff like this nearly every day. It makes you value life more. And it also makes you go to counseling, to be honest, after you work enough deadly traumas.

Life is short. And operating a vehicle or cycle is a huge and dangerous responsibility. Please don't ever drink and drive or smoke weed and drive. Always wear your seat belts. Slow down. Pay attention. Don't talk on the phone and drive at the same time. And wear a helmet if you must drive or ride on a motorcycle.

Faces of Death... Is that the video they make... I'm sure I would be disgusted.

I went to rotten.com once when I was 15 because everyone was talking about how great it was. That shit nearly made me throw up. I never understood why other peoples suffering is so amusing to so many idiots.

People tied to tracks and getting decapitated by a train. That is sick and shouldn't be considered entertainment in anyway. I do get sick to the stomach a lot at humanity.

I still remember an article I read in the New Orleans paper one time about a mentally retarded 20 year old running for his life from some gang bangers. He was banging on all kinds of doors pleading for someone to help him, but everyone in the neighborhood was to afraid to open their doors. Than the punk ass bitches shot him in the back 4 times in broad daylight.

I can't stand shit like that...

people view death in different ways,if they dont know the person, they feel sorry 4 the loved ones that r suffering,im not like that sorry to say if it doesnt affect me personally its not my problem.i think we all go on to somewhere better after we die and that loved ones who die watch over us,thats why death isnt a big issue to me. when my father and daughter died this thought made it easier for me,im going to see them again in a better place.look after becky 4 me dad.

it really doesnt matter for me whos dead, i still view it with a morbid interest. partly because i know that death in general is a natural part of life and partly because i like it.

youre being honest most people do have a morbid interest, people just dont like to admit it bcos deep down they know they shouldnt, the film hostel is based on true events does that mean u shouldnt watch any sort of horror film with torture or death in it?

MastaChronic

no, it shouldnt be censored. if people dont want to watch it they dont have to.

I remember watching a guy bleed to death from a stab wound in Detroit when I was a little one, since then I allways thought that life is only 1 chance, and any little problem can lead to the corruption of that single chance. Just gotta be aware and ready.

Hey Masta Chronic Ive noticed that you are amused by death and was wondering if you ever thought of becoming a cornorer (sp) or a imbomber (sp), or something in that field. Seems like something that may be right up your alley and they make really good money at doing it.

And talk about watching stuff disturbing, have any of you guys seen the Autopsy specials that come on HBO? There was one in particluar that showed a autopsy from beginning to end. I dont know why I watched it. Its like a bad car wreck you want to look away but you cant. It was so graphic, it bothered me for days, and I actually had nightmares about it. Im reconsidering being a organ donor. I know that is somthing that is a very good thing to do but after watching what they do to you I cant bare thinking of them doin git to me. I know your dead and cant feel it but knowing what they do I cant help but change my mind. I had a friend who was wanting to be a mortican(sp) and the furneral home sent her home with a video about what they do. It was so graphic. i mean you seen them take the brain out and everything. There are also 2 movies that bothered me really bad Wolf Creek and Hostel. The tourtue secens were really graphic and I felt uncomfortable watching some of it.

i dont even watch gorey movies, its just not what interests me. but its one thing to be portrayed in a movie, then to watch the videotape of someone's death? i wouldnt want my death to entertain people.

Agreed, I can watch a movie like Hostle portraying something horrible. But I don't want to see a picture of someone who has actually been tortured to death. It is just a disgusting example of human beings at their worst.

.

ive actually thought about doing just that. whenver we had a dissection in science class i was the first to cut it up, everybody else was to disgusted. i liked taking apart the frogs and fetal pigs, but not putting them back together, it made me sad.
i think hitting a bong and taking apart dead humans would be awesome

seriously. sex and violence really is powerful. sublimated forms, like i love watching football, i can deal with. bail videos for skating i enjoy too, unless its someones arm completely broken or something like that.

masta - i know what you mean with dissecting atleast. never had a problem with that. the frogs were already dead, and there for education.

I saw something kind of like this last year, with a motorbike too!

I was drving with my buddy, I was riding with him, and we passed this semi-rig, and on the side of it, was a totalled bike with blood along the side of it. TONS of blood I saw.

Turns out this guy I went to junior high with was the one killed in the crash. Poor bugger.

3 New Years Eves ago me and some buddies were standing outside of Jack in the Box facing the high way walking back to one of my friends car. 2 of us are just staring out into the main road watching cars zoom by as we walked to ours. I noticed some drunk guy attempting to stagger across the main road and like in slow motion, before I know it hes a few feet in the air all fucked up. It was the sickest shit ever. I was yelling and so was my friend, and my friend driving was lucky enough to miss it. We called 911 as other people did and I had to unavoidabley move on with my life. Poor dude who got hit didn't cause unfortunately he died. Its a shitty memory.
