How should I break it up?

This is my first time doing this on my own. How should i break the buds up to smoke?

well.. you could buy a grinder but if you're lookin to do it now you can just use you're fingers.. or use a pair of sissors and just cut the bud up into tiny peices..sissors would probaly be better then ur hands cuz then not as many crystals get off

Can't really explain, just try to break it apart into very small little peices. Drop it in the paper roll it, Toke it. :jointsmile:

And if you are using a pipe, you don't have to worry about breaking it up very fine. Just tear it into a few smaller peices and pack it into a bowl.

If your rolling it into a joint or blunt than sissors or a grinder would be your best bet.

I'm with headhunter. Just chuck the buds in an egg cup and snip away. Then when you get desperate later, you can scrape residual kief from the scissors and chuck it on a bowl of leaf or resin.

take out the stems and if there are seeds take them out too. put your mix in a pipe, flick a lighter and inhale deeply, like you just got held underwater for 30 seconds and you finally reached surface - take that first gasp for air but make sure it's marijuana smoke instead!!

I just got a fillet knife from upstairs and diced it like it was a vegtable, worked pretty good imo :D.

grinder or scissors would do best. just remember to remove the any seeds first before grinding, or you'll get a funky taste. plus you might want to grow them later if it's good bud
