I'v done a few soil grows in the past (never a SOG though). I want to know if its possible to grow a SOG with hydro, and which hydro setup would be best fit for me. I'll be flowering clones at 3-4 plants/sq ft. under a 1000w hps, in a 4x4 space. I'll be doing a harvest every 2 weeks and constantly feeding new clones into the room, so I want somthing thats as low maint. and stress free as possible.
thanks
The obvious choice is ebb and flow table. Fits perfectly in your space, 1000 watter covers it nicely, and can hold as many as 40 plants in it. Harvest 5 a week.

yeah tables are the only obvious way to do a very dense SOG. i know people that do 4" square pots, crapped together. Fits 200 plants per table. Its a 2 light table. Veg for 1 week, all single cola. He has 3 of these tables so there are 6 cycles (2 staggered cycles per table). It yields a lot to say the least. It did however take him literally years to perfect the setup and have no problems.

The drip system has more advantages. you can still use the trays and the minerals from you nute solution won't gradually cake-up on the sides of the trays. plus dripping is "natures way."
