im not sure if my plant is a female or a male, at first i thought it was going to be female becasue it started growing these pistol lookin preflowers (pic 1) on every node of the plant.but at the bottom of the plants, the nodes are round, if you can imagine a ball and socket joint, thats what it looks like. theyre arent alot of balls, just one ball connecting the branch to the stem. i know i sound retarded, but i dont really know how to explain it. if anyone thinks they know what im talkin about, advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

*note* these pictures are not of my plant, but its pretty much what the "pistols" on my plant look like

That looks like a young calyx with hairs about to emerge from it. If I'm correct I believe that's a female.

a lot of time when u use a crappy or unrelieable seed u can have a plant with male and female charactistics there call hamphridite.that could be what ur plant is wait a bit keep a good eye on it and it should be more clear in a little bit.just my opinion though

Those "pistol looking preflowers" at every node aren't pre-flowers. Every plant has those, male or female. See how they come from the side of the node as opposed to the crotch? They are just normal vegetative growth.

However, those little nubs in the crotch of the node do look like female pre-flowers to me, you should be seeing a white hair poking out of them in the next few days. Just hang tight and post some more pics in a few days. Looking nice and green though, any chance we could get some pics of the whole plant?

From my angle you are looking fine, just give it a little time to make sure. As long as you monitor closely, you shouldn't run into a problem really. While I am new to this, I do have many friends who aren't and I have seen their projects being done, but I also agree with splifted that it looks like you are starting to see the beginning of some female pre-flowers. Mine looked similar to that and then exactly like splifted said a long white hair comes out and then you are positive of what you are dealing with. Best of luck!
