When again is a good time to switch to 12/12? These suckers are going to be bushy, there really healthy, probably 5" tall now, lots of nicely colored leaves. Still on 18/6.....

it depend's how big you want them to finish up,if you want them to be say 3ft veg them for a month or until there about 6-7 nodes high and remember sativa's strech twice as much than indica strain,s which will strech about a quarter to a third it's own height when you switch the light's to 12/12.

So flowering is induced when switched to 12/12 not HPS? I thought it was once the HPS hit it they begin flowering. There on MH right now 18/6. I'll wait till there bigger. Also when I do switch to 12/12 how long before I put the HPS on them?

Hps is used as soon as you go 12x12 ,,,if you wait until the nodes start to offset, this means the plant is mature, gives better root system, witch means better buds up to you...

On average what would you guys say the growth period is? Im in my 4th week right now, there 4-5" tall. I think everyone says 8-10" then flower
Thanks, I wasnt sure about the 12/12 cycle.
Also this Mycorrhizal stuff (micor-he-zie) I think it's pernounced? Theres a post in advanced growing techniques about it. A place here in town sells it for only $9.99 pleanty enough for 4 plants. Anyone know the dummies guide to this stuff? Alot of stuff online is kinda techy :) :)

you can use an HPS bulb for veg without flowering the plant, mh is just better, its 12/12 that will turn the flowering on.
