The reason that drugs
are illegal is because of
the harm they do to
individuals particularly.
I would think the
sensitivity here is
because of the harm
they do to individuals
in a democratic society
- that they take away
the ability of
individuals to act as
free, responsible
citizens.
-"Drug Czar" John Walters
This does not make any sense.... is this an oxymoron ?
take away peoples rights, so that they can make the right decision about their free rights?
WTF
LOL
anyway.. i bet he gets $$$$ of the tax payers money to say smart stuff like that..

OH FUCK YEAH. I'd spend alot of years in training learning to use throwing knives and martial arts, and legalize pot by kicking ass V for Vendetta style. That would be so badass I think I might cry.

"Prohibition will work great injury to the cause of temperance. It is a species of intemperance within itself, for it goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation, and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A Prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded."
Abraham Lincoln (1809-65), U.S. President.

and yet the bastards gave it a try anyway.
haven't you noticed that the powers that be keep going further and further "beyond the bounds of reason". protecting us from ourselves by making more and more crimes "out of things that are not crimes".
i thank them daily for their shortsightedness and intolerance. each foolish prohibition brings us closer to a time when enough people will finally wake up and see what kind of monster we have created.

I'd support that. Killing is bad but if you are trying to alter reality to fit your own convenience then you're scum.
