Hello,
I'm not going to say where i'm from or give to much info about me other then to say that i "garden" I started playing around last October and must say that hyrdo is the best method i have used so far. Currently i am using a five basket bubbler box. Must sadly say the I'm begining my second crop, my first had to be destroyed due to an investation of mites. But then that's what i get for bringing in out door plants to dry. Listen to when people say leave your grow room/box as sanitary as possible. I found my pests during the first few weeks of flowering phase on my big plant. Not to much of a loss though considering it was a male plant.
As i type there is a dehumidifer heading to my house to ensure the air in my box remains dry as possible to ensure that my future plants will have a much better chance to become beautiful ladies.
I do not consider myself an expert by any means, i'm still learning and learning from my mistakes. Hopefully some of mistakes will help other's avoid some of the issues i've come across.
here's what i've learned so far

Leave out door plants outside, or a seperate place to dry out

Hyrdo systems are much easier to deal with then soil, personally i like the bubbler system, it's small yet very good,

Use good ferts but not to much, organics are worth the money

always clean your water regularly check your air stones to ensure proper air flow,

Distilled water is cheap and will contain less unwanted material that may clog air stones,

keep your room/box air dry to promote female flowering,

never ever deviate from the dark cycle,

Germinate seeds prior to planting to ensure that they will sprout and not waste time and space in your trays,

Keep pets out of the grow area, especially if they go outside.

NEVER touch the roots with your fingers, always wash your hands before working in your room,

Use tweezers that are clean to put your seedlings in your soil/trays

I've included some pictures of my last grow. the file names are the date the pictures were taken to show the grow rate. By the way the plant in the photos was from bag seed. my next grow will be hashberry and speedqueen. wish me luck.
