One of the radio stations here hosted a concert of Plain White Tees, Kill Hannah, and 30 Seconds to Mars.
Kill Hannah and 30 Seconds fucking rocked. Not the best I have been to, but both those groups sound really good live.
Plain White Tees are kind of blah, I'm not much of a fan.

I almost went to a free show of 30 Seconds to Mars a few weeks ago. That is Jared Leto's band right?
Yeah...almost went, then I listened to them...and decided against it.
Kill Hannah seems pretty cool though...I think I have one of their albums..

I didn't know of anything from Kill Hannah other than that song "Lips like Morphene," I assume that is the name. They rocked though.
I like 30 Seconds to Mars a lot to though and my g/f is in love with Jared Letto.
Got AFI coming in November...

I really like your avatar. It's awesome haha.
Jared Leto was hot, he was almost worth it to go to the show. I missed them a lollapalooza too......

Yeah, I had the stoned cats as my avatars for a little bit. They were cute.
Thats cool, I saw AFI a few times awhile ago....few years at least....
I saw Wolfmother last weekend..but I am too poor to go to shows often...

I have never seen wolfmother.
The best concert I have ever been to though is certainly NIN. Steve Winwood (jazz/rock type music) comes in second and that is only because it was outdoors and started pouring in the middle of his set. Plus the sky seemed to let out loud cracks of thunder and lightning at the right moments... And the people in front of us shared their really good KB with us
We can afford them when we really want to go, usually pay the cable bill late that month though.

Well, I have a really good hook up for free shows because my best friend works at a CD store and writes music reviews for the local paper. Unfortunatly, well actually not TOO unfortunate haha...I am moving home on Sunday which is a small town that doesn't really offer any big acts as far as concerts go and its 300 miles away from here. Thats the only thing ill miss about this city, theres a damn good concert everynight and I always can get free tickets to it. I didn't really take too much advantage of it though since I had school too, but I have been to some good shows in the past few months.
NIN would be really good live. I have seen a lot of really good shows..Peanutbutter Wolf was good....Wolfmother was good...Garbage was good..A perfect circle was good..Incubus was good..Janes addiction was good. I love concerts, don't go to nearly as many as I should.

I wish I had that kind of hook up for concerts, we have to buy all our tickets
You certainly have to go see NIN. Trent Reznor is the absolute best. It was just an amazing time and I was sober the whole time (thats saying something.)
I think he may still be touring Europe right now though, and am not sure when they will be going through the U.S.A. again.
The guys from Kill Hannah were walking around the bar and chilling with everyone after their set. Very cool.

I've seen 30 seconds to Mars twice in the last month. They brought the rock both times!

I've never seen or heard the other band, but I saw 30 seconds to mars live and I was actually blown away. I went to see Audioslave last year in Tampa and 30 seconds to mars was opening up and I was planning on finding my seat, getting some beer and going outside and burning a couple down, but they blew me away. I heard them on the radio and didn't care for them at all, but live they are something else entirely. If you ask me, they made Seether look like amatures at best.
I would recommend them to anyone who likes a good show.

YES. I got to see NIN live last year (like a week after audioslave) and it was a killer show indeed. One of the best I've ever seen. It's almost as pleasing to the eyes as it is the ears. I can't wait to see them again next time they're in FL.
