Alright everybody, I have a question and I think that I can only get the most truthful and knowledgable answer through these forums. I got to college at Virginia Tech. I love weed. Where I come from we call the best nugs chronic. I come from the Fairfax area of VA. Up there, any really good nugs lacking in anoying stems seeds, thatare better than just kb and gets you really high is chronic. Thats what I've thought since I started smoking. These two guys from New Hampshire that live near me swear that chronic is weed with cocain sprinkled on it. Most people I've asked agree with me, but they say we're all just wrong. What is the truth, have I always been wrong or are thes guys just fools? Input would help. thanks.

But it's like this: drug terms cross paths with each other all over the place. Take that venerable in-city beverage, the Olde English 800 Malt Liquor, surely the Champage of Malcom X Boulevard. A few years ago, this fine company did a series of ads showing women leaning over a pool table, their goodies purely bursting from their low-cut lycra tops, and a Def Jam rapper standing before them making a hand sign that was said to be a gangsta mudra. 8-ball apparently refers in street language as a preperation of heroin. It's not what you'd ordinarily think a beer company would want to have related to its product. But a person-on-the-street, asked about the ad, said that the meaning of the ad was clear: a bottle of Olde English 800 would get you as f*cked up as an 8-ball of heroin would. (Nice, huh?)

I wouldn't worry too much about the names are of what you're smoking, so long as you KNOW what you're smoking. Weed is mild stuff. Coke gets you addicted, seriously physically addicted. You're in a good school, don't fuck that up. Seriously ...

This is slang where I am from:

Dank - Top quality, heavy hitting, 1-2 hit, seedless/stemless, hairy, resin covered buds.

Kind Bud - Upper quality, big hitting, 2-4 hit, mostly seedless/stemless, hairy, decent resin content.

Commercial - Uncompressed, decent hitting, 1 bowl, some seeds/stems, decent hairs, some resin content.

Schwag - Compressed (bricked), somewhat harsh hitting, 1-2 bowls, seeded/with stems, little hair content, little resin content.

*Resin content - The amount of visible tri-chome crystals.

When people mix coke and herb around here we call it "Snow capping". This is not tons of coke, just a light dusting over a bowl.

This is what I think of when I hear "Chronic".

alright everybody, thanks for the imput. I wasn't really worried, I've tried coke, wont do that again, almost landed me in jail, I know what I smoke, I just wanted to prove these kids wrong, but your right, the shit depends on where ur from. ur right, blacksburg is the outback to fairfax but this school has 27,000 people, so its not boring. Just the prices are a little higher if you know what i mean.
