I was born in London, and i've lived all over, south london east london and i was in the west end for a bit, im a cockney guy....
Something unique? Everwhere in England had a drought of weed over the summer, but not London. We had more stuff than ever, and everyone was open about it. I saw so many kids scoring in the streets, made me proud.

Washington state is beautiful. however we have had a crazy november. First we had hundred mile an hour winds that downed hundreds of trees. Then we had record breaking rainfall that flooded acme and other smaller towns. Then we got 1 to 4 feet of snow a few weeks after that.

bay area california
in california, its split up in to like 3 completley different landscapes. southern cali, like fresno and south, through to la and san diego. its allways warm, there is mountains and alot of City, beaches, etc... in the bay area its alot of really nice forests and woods lots of cool caves, trails, etc. the weather is cold during thee winter, but hot during summer and spring, etc. northern california, like eureka, red bluff, etc. is really cold all the time. same as oregon weather.
i personally prefer the bay area. and i also hapen to live there, i can walk up a hill and into a trail, miles and miles down motorbike baths, walking trails, hiking into some random mountain for miles, or going offroading down dirtbike anad quad trails, riding my go ped bigfoot (offroad motor scooter) going miles into the hills.

Mardi Grass (This was a typo I just noticed but I have to leave it in now. "Mardi Gras")... Where else do women flash their boobs for cheap plastic beads. I literally have an attic full of them back at my moms house. 3 or so big trash can's full in case they ever ride. They never do though.

Mississauga Ontario, Canada.
I love the seasons, plenty of good forests to go to if outside smoking is your kind of thing.
I grew up mostly in York, PA which is kinda boring but has alot good things about it if you look hard. It had alot of state parks all around to just chill in and a city too so that was cool. I was always just an hour drive from sick baltimore headshops which was cool.
Now i live in philly. Philly is a major city, so theres always stuff going on here.

West Virginia here.. you can't beat the mountains here in the fall when all the leaves are changing. The lakes, rivers are awesome for boating and white water rafting. It's ski season, so the mountains are close to being in full effect here.. I can't wait to get down one of those slopes.
That's what I like about it here... we get 4 seasons. I like to experience them all. Some places don't have autumn or spring, or even a winter in some cases.
Oh, and the bud here is amazing. That is all.. :)

I live in San Jose California, at the bottom of the Silicon Valley. What's cool about where I live is that even though I'm in the 10th largest city in the U.S, with over a million people, I'm also about a 1/4 mile away from the mountains. We get deer in our front yard and I've seen rattlesnakes, bobcats, and even a mountian lion, all within a mile radius of our house. I can spend all day hiking and then go into town for a good dinner. clubs, whatever.

I currently live in Cocoa FL. Sunny, close to the theme parks, the space center and port canaveral. It's fun enough living here, but a little fast paced compared to where I used to live which was in western NC (pic is my avatar). I like it here, but I will end up back home one day. Where I live in New England it's 20 degrees out and crisp and dry and beautiful on those nights in winter where the air is so clear and perfect and you can see every wrinkle on the moon and every star in the milky way.
There are 5 BIG colleges and several small colleges within a 40 minute drive of my house. People are hip and peaceful and well-educated around here, but they can get a bit long-winded at town meetings as a result.
Practically everyone in my neighborhood has a cool dog and right nearby there's a cross-country skiing recreation area where we all take the pooches for walks and playtime.
The houses in my 'hood were all built in 1900-1915 in the Shingle Style and are gorgeous. It's one of the reasons I bought there- my favorite style of architecture- keeps me motivated to work a lot and save my money for an upgrade!
There are 2 or 3 awesome ski resorts and maybe 10 microbreweries within an hour's drive.
There's 2 amazing rivers for whitewater or tubing within 15 minutes of my front door. Plus the Mighty Connecticut for when you're lazy and want POWER.
I've traveled all over and can't imagine a better spot than right here in the Happy Valley.

Iowa City, Iowa
well we got the university of iowa here its a pretty prestigous liberal arts school. and its athletics programs are among the best in the country. so its a big college town, lots of parties all the time infact the UofI was rated the #8 party school a few years in a row. we get some pretty damn good weed here way better then what you will find anywhere else in iowa but it is a lil pricey. on top of all that we are only a 41/2hour drive from chicago, minneapolis, st.louis, omaha, only an hour and a half from des moines, and about 5 hours from kansas city. plus interstate 80 goes right thru here. and iowa is one of the top producers of pork products, corn products including ethonal, and soy products including bio-diesel

I'm from Ashland, OR. It is a VERY unique town, here are some snippets from Wikipedia.com
Ashland is also remarkable for being very politically liberal. It gave the hypermajority of its vote to Democrat John F. Kerry in the 2004 Presidential election. This potentially makes it more Democratic than Portland, and more Democratic than any other city in Oregon and neighbouring Washington outside of Seattle, Washington, which cast 80.61% for Kerry compared to Ashland's 80.60%.
Ashland is well-known for its annual Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF), which brings thousands of visitors to the city every year. The festival has grown from a summer outdoor festival in the 1930s to a season which stretches from February to October, incorporating Shakespeare and non-Shakespearean plays in repertory at three theaters. OSF sells more tickets to more performances of more plays than any other theater in the country. In a typical year, OSF sells more than 350,000 tickets and attracts about 100,000 tourists.
The National Fish and Wildlife Forensics Laboratory, located in Ashland, is the world's only crime lab dedicated to wildlife, and serves law enforcement both within and outside the United States.
Lithia Park is a 100 acre (0.4 km²) park extending from the center of town ("The Plaza") up Ashland Creek to the foothills of Mount Ashland. It includes two ponds, a Japanese garden, tennis courts, two public greens, a bandshell (outdoor stage) and miles of hiking trails. The name Lithia comes from the natural mineral water in Ashland, Lithia water. Lithia water is famous for its strong mineral taste and slight effervescence, and the Lithia water fountains found on the town plaza are frequently tasted by unsuspecting tourists (often at the behest of residents or frequent visitors who use the fountains as a cheap, humorous Ashland initiation rite).[citation needed] As of October 2006, the fountains on the plaza are temporarily under construction due to vandalism and their allegedly curative water is available from an unmarked spigot nearby.[citation needed] Lithia water can be sampled from a fountain near the bandshell in Lithia Park as well.
The Ashland City Band is the oldest continuous city band in the United States, having formed as the Ashland Brass Band in 1876. John McLaren (Park Designer), designer of San Francisco's Golden Gate Park, designed Lithia Park and included an octagonal gazebo-style bandstand which was used by the ACB until the bandshell was built in 1949.
The Bathroom Readers' Institute and Bathroom Readers' Press, who put out the Uncle John's Bathroom Reader books, are based in Ashland.

I was driving back to California, from Washington, when my car broke down on I-5, just past Ashland. It was right at the time of the Shakespeare fest and there wasn't an available hotel room for miles. I ended up sleeping under an overpass. NIce place though.

Yep, thats Ashland for ya. During the festival time-good luck with finding a hotel. We have a ton of little hotels, but they are always damn full.
That really sucks you ended up sleeping under an overpass, next time call me!! :)

I live in the Dallas, Texas area. There's not much that's particularly remarkable here. Our terrain is mostly flat and dry. We're hours away from both the coast or the mountains. It's miserably hot here in the summertime, and the winters aren't snowy or pretty. They're mostly mild, and when we do get winter weather, it involves ice storms. There are lots of fundamentally religious types, political conservatives, and illegal immigrants here. As I write this, I'm wondering what in the world has kept us here for my entire lifetime, and the only thing I can think of is that it's familiar and this is where I was raised.
One good thing about this area? Excellent Tex-Mex cuisine. Other than that, I need to move to northern California, Oregon, or Washington. Fast.

chesapeake virginia. nothing really here in particular except great places to grow with a great climate, but drive 15 minutes in any direction and youll find some sweet shit. we have the crowded, touristy beach, the duney natural beach. the other direction is norfolk, which is like mini NYC with nicer people and the same amount of bums, but still sweet to chill at a couple times a week. DC is a daytrip from here and can be fun sometimes as long as you dont drive in the city. Probably the most amazing mountains in North America too. everybody around here always says "man this town sucks sooo bad i cant wait to get out" but really, this place could be a WHOLE LOT worse *cough*utah*cough*iowa*cough*ohio*cough*i could go on*cough*

My town is wonderful!
A long highway that, if given the breathtaking chance to be driven on, could definately subdue you with its astonishing view of corporate fast food franchises as fas as the eye can see. A high way holding, low and behold, the greatest wal-mart in the city limits, that contrary to popular beliefs, succeeds in and stomping out any other local provisions to rape the competition. Surrounding this high way is the wonderful suburbanite mentality we all love, shared in the hearts of Old war vets with something shoved up their ass, GI's who act like the world owes them something, Prison gaurds, and bored, distraught teens who turn to sex and drugs for excitement.
In a nut shell...fuck this town. I'm going to Austin as soon as possible.

yes, i'm a So Cal baby.
here at the south end of the county we seem to have become famous for having more breast implants than LA and less smog (marginally so in both cases). yeah, the weather's great and everything is within arm's reach (beaches, mountains, deserts, urban fun and rural relaxation), but.....
diversity, what's that? this is the kingdom of the white, middle-class fool (they keep the mexicans around to mow the lawns and watch the kids).
tolerance, just another buzz-word. this is the home of tricky dick, this is reagan-land. if you ain't conservative at heart then you ain't shit, with the exception of a few small pockets of resistance this is where McCarthy should hold his second coming. even the liberals are conservative here.
culture, don't make me laugh. these people are dumb with a capital duh... they live and breath reality shows and new cars, they live by the credo "if it's on TV, it must be true". they seem to exist to consume, the perfect examples of the perfect american.
in short; abandon hope, all ye who enter here. this is stepford-land, created in walt disney's image and perpetuating the lies that bigger is better and perfection is not only attainable but "we've made it!!!"
there are quite a few of us here, living under the ice and watching to see what the animals will do next. don't join us, it's dangerous here, you can lose your soul if you're not careful.

Boston is where it's at, man. I fuckin love this city. Im actually right outside the city, walking distance to the T. Some of the coolest bars ever, the best music scene you're gonna find just about anywhere. This place has so much history and culture, you cant walk anywhere without finding some sort of historical landmark, or famous bar, or just plain beatiful architechture. Im close to some really nice beaches and within an hour drive of some world class snowboarding. And also my beloved Red Sox and Bruins and Patriots are here.
Boston is great! I visited there for a couple of weeks long time ago and I thought it was clean for a city...

Well, I live in Bussey, IA..we just lost a couple of old people..but I think the population is still somewhere around 55.
Good things about my town:
1.No Police
2.No Fast food restaraunts
3.No stoplights, no traffic
4.The river, catfish, and bonfire parties
5.There's this little mom and pop general store called Katy Dids..and you can just walk in there and get whatever you want and the owner will write it down on a little peice of paper and keep you a tab to pay later
6. A dinner every sunday with all the trimmins
7. But above all I like to take a drive during the summer, and go drive out on the gravel roads with a big fat doobie and go out where there's nothin but corn and drive around and get high. ;)
I could go on and on..but I'd probrably incriminate myself into sounding even more bodunk..but anyways...life here is good :)
Something else unique about England is you can drink a beer and light up a spliff outside in broad daylight and no one gives a shit, no one minds, and you probably wouldnt even get it confiscated by the cops [as long as your over 18]
