Being bored, i was googling hemp etc. i thought i google my favourite papers (zig-zag hemp papers) and loads of stuff came back on hemp paper. A little question popped in my head "how much THC is in hemp paper?"
Of course, nothing a quick google couldn't find. it ranges. It revealed that most places, the legal ammount of THC in hemp is 0.3% in europe (same in canada, not sure about US though)
Being a bit of a n00b, i thought i'd google cannabis THC content. i found various numbers ranging from 3% up to 20% but a lot of places say about 10%.
I'm sure you can see where i'm going with this. Another quick google reveals THC extraction is posible (from cannabis) using simply alcohol (and a few other household things.)
I thought i'd double check if the tiny ammounts of THC in hemp paper would actually have an effect and found...

To receive a standard psychoactive dose would require a person to power-smoke 10-12 hemp cigarettes over an extremely short period of time. The large volume and high temperature of vapor, gas and smoke would be almost impossible for a person to withstand.
From that i deduced that the THC in the is enough to do something, if you could efficiently smoke it.
So is it possible to go down to the shop buy a pack of 40 hemp rizlas (less than a quid,) add some everclear, do the extraction process thingy and end about four times the "standard psychoactive dose" of THC? If so, why has nobody done it? and if not, why has nobody found a way you do it?!
Cheers.
p.s. i'm quite certain im missing something here, someone must have thought of and poo-poo'd this idea before. I've just run upon this...

However, fiber hemp, like all Cannabis sativa plants, does contain tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the main psychoactive ingredient in marijuana, in amounts of 0.1-0.6% and even up to 1%. Indeed, US homegrown marijuana smoked in the 1960s was only 0.5-1% THC, and marijuana as low as 0.25% can have psychoactive effects.
Hmm.....
