ya most likley, do you think the kief would melt into the oatmeal due to the heat? or do you think the kief would stay in its original form and just mix around with everything...

It would be a waste, unless you used a lot of butter on it. THC will disolve in oils. If the oils (or alcohols) are not available, your body cannot absorb the THC by way of your stomach.

Actually, it would get you at least somewhat high. Your body would eventually break down all the keif and realease it into your bloodstream. You can eat buds and eventually catch a buzz. The reason most people transfer the thc to butter (through the process of making cannabutter) is that it will release the thc a lot quicker into your boloodstream. The question is would it realease all the thc quickly, giving you a good high... or just release small ammounts of thc over a gradual period were you would never really feel the effects.

A much more effective process would be to make cannabutter and just put some of that onto you oatmeal and let it melt in. It would also taste a lot better. There's a recipe on here for making cannabutter I think, if not it's all over the web.

Oatmeal's good for you! The instant type sucks, but the old fashioned is good. Easy to fix- Boil water, add oatmeal and a pinch of salt. Bring it back to a boil. Cover, turn off the heat. Come back in a couple of minutes. Stir, add your goodies, and eat. Remember to fill the pan with cold water after cooking the oatmeal. It makes washing the pan later SO much easier! (Dried oatmeal is a drag to clean out of a pan.) Oatmeal has soluable fiber which lowers cholesterol. No chemical additives. It's a whole grain. It's very blandness makes it a good way to get creative. Add a little cinnamon or some jam and you're good to go on a cold day. Nuts, jelly, dried fruits, chocolate syrup or chips, fresh fruits and berries, coconut flakes, all sorts of possibilities! It's a good for you, "stick to your ribs" food-it just needs a little dressing up! And there is an old saying. "The English feed their oats to their horses- they have the finest horses in the world! The Scots feed their oats to their men... " ;) Granny Storm Crow :stoned:

i imagine if you like cooked some thick oatmeal, put some real ooiiily peanut butter or butter like for fire crackers on top, toss on the fine kief, and put in an over for a few at like 300 to get the THC to start breakin downa dn stuff..then eat it
