So, after taking about 6 days off I sampled any early bud we snipped. It may have been NYD or Trainwreck. I wasn't expecting much as it was harvest early only dried for about 4 days, and then finished off by heating top of a light to rush it ready. The sample seemed small but turned out to be quite dense and ended up packing about 3 small bowls 13 hits. The flavor was suprisingly mild, with a slightly sour taste... still had a chlorophic bite.

The high is a very up high, combined with some deep body buzzing, not quite "couchlock". Already have had some great conversations. Starting to really get a level deeper into the stone. If there is a downside it is that it creates extreme eye redness and dryness. All in all quite a suprise. Infact it has promted me to reach for some smilies, my first. :stoned: :yippee:

love to all

"chlorophic" oh yeah thats not even close to a word. not so stoned now...

chlorophylic probably isn't a word, but basically you can taste the chlorophyll.

yeah it will be nice to have that removed, however, I was suprised with how smooth it was after only about a week of drying. The aroma was still pretty "green" reminded me of grass clippings. The aroma of the buds during harvest was a sticky sweet smell, fruity and a bit piney.

yeah looks like Trainwreck to me. TW in my opinion is the most distinct tasting strain out there. Pinesol. Thats what it always reminds me of. Lemony and Pinesol fresh. Ive grown it a few times and Im always impressed at how good it tastes and smokes even right after it dries without a cure. But a 4-5 weeks cure...and its sublime.
